Another month flies by.. oh wait. It’s still August. The jam-packed month of sex doll news just got more jammed, crammed, and filled to the brim. It’s now overflowing as brands endlessly release new updates and photos. Therefore, this calls for a Part 2 to August 2022’s Sex Doll News. This month, WM Doll revealed their new Articulated Hands, Irontech released over 15 photosets in 2 weeks, Mizuwali reunited with an old friend (his camera), and so much more. On August 16, 2022, WM Doll revealed their new articulated fingers design. Under the slogan, “Evolution never stops,” they completely overhauled their 2021 prototype. The new hands feature a unique ball-jointed design with finger springs and damping structure to provide enhanced joint rotation, finger posing, and reduced chance of joint breakage. Although it looks somewhat complicated, the new hands are basically better than the old ones in every way. It will be available in October 2022.
WM Doll also released new photos of their silicone 175cm body with Silicone Head #159. According to the photographer, @CubikoMandos, WM Doll’s silicone has “no plastic feel” and isn’t as shiny as other brands.
SE Doll released two new TPE dolls, the 150cm Kaiya and 157cm Yvette. Like younger and older sisters, Kaiya looks cute and youthful while Yvette appears more mature and seductive.
JY Doll released a new 106cm silicone torso doll and 123cm mini doll. The torso features the Chuang head and has arms, but no lower legs. Although she takes up less space, she still weighs about 30 kg (66 lbs). It might be good for people who don’t like cumbersome legs but still want thick thighs. They also released a 123cm silicone mini doll with the Winnie head, and new photos of the YunXi silicone head (with implanted hair) on the 163cm TPE body.
Irontech released a new 167cm TPE body and a ton of new photosets. They weren’t playing around as they released over 15 new photosets in only 2 weeks. Since there are so many, I will just show a few interesting ones. Most of them are just different heads on the same body. The TPE dolls below are the 167cm Mandy, 175cm Julia, and 175cm Viola, followed by the silicone 164cm Yu, 164cm Hedy, and 165cm Eva (x2). Irontech has put heavy emphasis on tall TPE dolls and thick silicone dolls lately.
Piper Doll released a new 140cm silicone Ariel. Featuring the same proportions as the 140cm TPE version, she comes with weight reduction and weighs about 20 kg (44 lbs), which is 8 kg (16 lbs) less than the TPE version. In other Piper Doll news, Phil from The-Doll-House won a crucial court case over a seized Piper Doll Akira in the UK. That wraps up the sex doll news highlights for the second half of August 2022. There were lots of new dolls and photosets. Surprisingly, there was nothing new from Game Lady Doll. WM Doll worked hard to innovate lately while most brands like Irontech focused on new photosets and heads. The sex doll industry certainly has no plans of slowing down. There’s something for everyone, but I personally think they should slow down and focus on quality and innovation over new heads and bodies. No doubt, there are more releases coming soon. Yeah I do agree on the quality innovation part! Like body heating to be compatible with breathing! Or being able to walk and move!
Interesting tidbit from @CubikoMandos on the WM’s silicone dolls. I was pretty dead set on TPE but Piper’s/Siliko’s silicone quality has always had me second-guessing myself. I’ll need to look into WM silicone as well when it gets closer to me making a purchase.
That JY torso is interesting as well. I never liked limbless torsos much, but that could work.
