Trusted Sex Doll Websites

Buying a sex doll isn’t like buying something cheap from Amazon. A majority of top sex doll brands don’t sell on Amazon, Ebay, or Aliexpress (which are free-for-all marketplaces with lots of stolen photos) so it’s best to avoid them. Instead, you want to find a trustworthy vendor, who are authorized distributors of well-known sex doll brands. While it’s possible to order directly from a brand, I highly recommend ordering through a vendor for more buyer protection, better customer service, and sometimes lower prices as well.

Where Do I Buy a Sex Doll?

With the rise in sex doll popularity, many Chinese stores have opened up to sell imitation or counterfeit dolls. You’ll see this a lot on marketplace websites like Ebay, Amazon, and Aliexpress, as well as their own domains. Basically, they sell cheap copies with another brand’s photos (like selling fake iphones with Apple’s photos). Knockoff dolls won’t look the same as the photo, are made of inferior quality, and will fall apart quickly.

I don’t recommend cheaping out when it comes to a sex doll. Sex dolls aren’t just for sex, but also for love, companionship, cuddling, photography, and so much more. You want something that looks good, feels good, and lasts for years. That’s why it’s important to buy an authentic doll from the original manufacturers and designers.

How Do I Find a Trustworthy Vendor?

Having run my own store in the past selling top sex doll brands, I have a good idea whether a website is legit or not. After scouring through hundreds of vendors, I created this list of my personal favorites. Not only did I personally vet each one, I gathered data and reviews from real customers on The Doll Forum, Reddit, and more. Both the doll community and I can guarantee these stores sell authentic dolls with excellent customer service and reasonable prices. They all have their own specialties, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. I recommend visiting each one because they’re all slightly different.

Tip: Don’t be afraid to contact vendors! Feel free to email them and ask them anything!

Trusted Sex Doll Vendors

Sex Dolls Shop™ is a highly prestigious sex doll vendor to order from. Their customer service is top-notch, and they offer an excellent selection of dolls at great prices. You’re not just getting a doll; you’re getting a team that cares and helps you every step of the way. They’re one of the safest and most trusted websites to order from. You can’t go wrong with them.

My Robot Doll is a trusted vendor that ships worldwide including Europe. They have the most up-to-date selection of top brands, including more elusive brands like Shedoll, TAYU, and Aotume. They’re the leading vendor for Sino Doll, and offer the hyper-realistic Top-Sino series. With excellent customer service, many satisfied customers, and highly reasonable prices, they’re a fantastic vendor to order from.

Silicone Lovers is a very popular and rapidly-growing vendor from the UK. With over 19 top brands to choose from, they have one of the largest catalogs out there. They offer both TPE and silicone sex dolls, and have very friendly and helpful customer service. Combine that with a huge selection of dolls at amazing prices, and you have an almost perfect sex doll store.

The Doll Channel is the only vendor with an active and growing Youtube channel and community. They specialize in smaller sex dolls, and can ship dolls domestically to avoid customs issues. Based in the US, they have many in-stock dolls ready-to-ship including mini dolls. Not the prettiest website, but they have affordable pricing, many in-stock wigs and accessories, and a points/reward program.

Don't Get Ripped off!

When it comes to sex dolls, there are two important things to keep in mind:

  1. Avoid cheap and counterfeit sex dolls from unknown sellers.

As they say, “You get what you pay for.” Most dolls under $1000 (except for mini dolls) are not authentic name-brand dolls. Many stores sell cheap replicas using another brand’s photos to trick customers. Not only will they not match the photos, they’re of inferior quality, and break quickly. More and more of these websites are popping up. A general rule of thumb is don’t purchase sex dolls from Aliexpress, Ebay, or Amazon. Because they are free-for-all marketplaces (both good and bad sellers), you never know what you’ll get.

2. Customer service is as important as price.

Although there are many sketchy websites out there, there are also many trustworthy vendors. But which one should you choose? The one with the lowest prices? Probably not. When it comes to expensive, luxury products like sex dolls, you need a vendor who has your back if something goes wrong. Customer service is extremely important when it comes to sex dolls (because things can be unpredictable). A reputable vendor can resolve problems quickly, and make sure you get what you paid for. Having personally been ghosted by several vendors in the past, sometimes, it’s worth paying a little more for the peace of mind.

Vendors to Avoid

SexDollGenie: Disguised as a TDF-approved US vendor, these thieves scammed me over a year ago. With non-existent customer service, they pretend to “look into” issues (for over a year) but never actually do anything. Once they send you a doll, you’re on your own – you’ll never hear from them again.

FFdolls: A knockoff doll seller who mirrored my entire blog, and changed my name to their name. People have stolen my content before (which is why I watermark everything), but never my entire website. Don’t let them steal your money next. (I contacted the brands they carry, and none of them ever heard of FFdolls)

Now that you know where to buy a sex doll, it’s time to start enjoying life again! Feel free to comment below if you have any questions.

I am interested in a sex doll but not ready to buy a top-notch yet.
I would like to try a mini doll first because they are small, easy to handle, and more affordable.
I don’t know how my reaction will be when interacting with a doll.
For these reasons, I think a mini doll would be a good starting point for me.
Do you recommend a specific company that carries legit mini dolls?

Also, how can I contribute to you and your quest to provide reliable information for all of us who are new to this?

    Thank you.

    1. Steven

      Hi Tom,
Irokebijin’s mini dolls are pretty popular, such as the 90cm Akane (TPE). A few brands have mini dolls like JY Doll, MLW, Elsa Babe, etc, but I don’t know too much about them.
As for contributions, doll/brand and vendor reviews from real customers are pretty useful for me.

  2. Graham

Hello I was looking to buy a the 3 in 1 robot sex doll, I was curious if there was a vendor that sale a smaller one around 120-130 cm also I looking at does anybody know if they are legit.

    1. Steven

      Hi Graham,
Personally, I’m not a big fan of them. Lots of things on their website remind me of Chinese knockoff doll vendors like no brand names (in-stock dolls section) and gifs in the descriptions. Their 3-in-1 robot dolls are SY Dolls, which is generally a lower-end brand, but might be ok for the price (I don’t know if I trust their electronics though). Smaller dolls (120-130cm) usually don’t have the robotic sex features. Irontech is a higher quality brand with those features, but more expensive.

  3. Dan

Are there any legitimate sites that offer detachable legs? I have seen a couple but looking to shop more for this offering.

    1. Steven

      Hi David,
Based on the prices, they sell knockoff dolls with stolen photos. Personally, I would avoid that website. Too many red flags like no About Us section, stock photo banners, fake reviews, no brand names, etc. Their website is so bare-bones, it genuinely looks like a scam, and they might not even send you anything.

  4. MrX

I had a brief interaction with Thedollchannel that put his site on my NO list, due to poor communication. Asked if a certain model was in stock and mentioned some of the links were broken (which is why I emailed him in the first place, I was confused because it said preorder), he said yes it’s in stock and nothing’s broken. Emailed him again asking about quality of a piper doll, I read reports of tearing and wanted his feedback. No reply. Then emailed him again, telling him I’m about to make a buy, asked about hair color choices (there were no custom options, just “add to cart”), and on one part it was $1299 but another was $1499. Added to cart as $1499? Again, no reply. Ghosting/ignoring a potential customer is the biggest red flag and will always result in me backing out.

He fixed the site to include options and edited the links, I’m still puzzled as to why he didn’t reply.

Also, he includes a disclaimer that silicone piper dolls come with zero warranty for normal use. I can get the same benefit of no warranty from a chinese reseller. Anyways, it’s his loss. I found the same doll on another reputable site for $1200, so I’ll buy it from there after the chinese new year holiday.

    1. Steven

      Hi MrX,
Sorry to hear about your experience. I have heard that he’s slow at replying to emails, so calling him might be a better option. Not many vendors offer phone support so that’s one of their advantages. Perfectly fine ordering from another reputable vendor though. He definitely needs to step it up with his emails. Meanwhile, in-stock dolls will probably be in high demand during CNY.

      1. MrX

His first (and only) reply came two hours later. I had a few more questions before committing. Then I gave him another 13 hours before emptying my cart and writing him off. There’s an old saying about first impressions; You only get to make one. Ironically, the site I found it from, cheaper, is on the approved list at TDF.

  5. Jacobi

Steven, by chance are you familiar with They were an offshoot of the doll channel that seemed to provide the same services as doll channel with a wider selection. Until recently I was able to browse their website, but now I get hit with an “unable to secure a connection” messages no matter which browser I use. I’m fairly certain my connections are good, is there something going on with on their end?

    1. Steven

      Hi Jacobi,
Yes, that is one of The Doll Channel’s websites. I just tried it, and it works for me. I don’t get that message.

      1. Jacobi

Still can’t access it. Could someone post a link to click on? I’ve been trying typing it into my browser and accessing it through my history. An actual link to the website is the one thing I haven’t tried.

        1. Steven

The link is Maybe the website is blocked by your Internet provider. I’m not sure what else the problem might be.

  6. Rich

    Hello Steven,
Thank you for taking the time to answer all of our questions. I would like to buy a Piper doll, but I am not sure the best site from where to buy it. Most sites seem to have some differences in options like loose skeleton, implanted hair, and pubic hair choices. Can you tell me if the site is the legit site of the manufacturer please? They have all the options I’m looking for more so than the reputable sites like my robot doll and the doll channel. Thank you again!

    1. Steven

      Hi Rich,
Last I checked (a long time ago), (without the s) was the official website, but it looks like they changed it. Maybe is the official one now. On Twitter, Doll Forever linked before so they’re probably legit.
Since they all come from the same factory, technically they all have the same customization options. Some vendors just won’t list all of them (more options = more confusing for customers). I still recommend ordering from a vendor – you can contact them before ordering. However, if you choose, I think they’re probably also legit. I just assume their customer service won’t be as good.

  7. Altair

Hi Steven, how are you? Please let me know if there is a confident vendor/supplier in Brazil so that I can buy directly from them. Another question: how does work the suck vagina device? Thank you very much.

  8. Altair

Good evening. Please, could you inform if I can buy a doll from Brazil and received it normally from all of these vendors? Thanks a lot.

  9. Zap

    Hi Steven

Love your job looking out for other people.

Also, I have a little tricky question, do you know of any UK-based trusted vendor, I’ve been looking at a couple of them, namely , ,

In their about sections it is very limited, and I couldn’t find anything linked to them at the company house register, so I thought of asking a pro to give me advice for buying my first doll.

    1. Steven

      Hi Zap,
For UK vendors, I like SiliconeLovers. Cloudclimax is legit, and I also heard good things about The-Doll-House UK, but I have no personal experience with the previous 2.

      1. Zap

Thank you ever so much, it was just as I suspected a 5’7 doll for 750 GBP seemed too good to be true, so 1300 is a perfectly reasonable price.

And thank you once more, you’re a star.

  10. James

Don’t buy from peggys closet there scammers as well got scammed out of $130.00

  11. Earl

    Hi Steven!

    I was wondering about

I did see your most recent post/your first post of 2024 in regards to one of the newer pictures of Firefly Diary dolls. Would you say they are a trustworthy vendor? 2024 is looking like the year I may purchase my first doll!

    1. Steven

      Hi Earl,
I don’t have any personal experience with Realdollonline, but they’re most likely legit. A few people on Dollforum ordered Game Lady dolls from them, their collections are up-to-date, and they have connections with a well-known doll photographer. I don’t know what their customer service is like, but they’re probably safe to order from.

  12. Manny

Not gunna lie them shits are expensive as fuck tho. Like I want one that’s full body an at least 5ft but for lower then $100. It’s probably impossible but if you could try to help me fine one that would be great.

    1. Steven

      Hi Manny,
Unfortunately, that’s not possible. The shipping alone costs around $100. At $100, the best you can get is an inflatable doll or a used doll that someone’s throwing away or donating.

  13. King

    Is honey love doll legit?

  14. Andrew

Hey mate. Im from Australia and come across a doll on that i like. But scared it will get me in trouble with law if i buy it. Its got a nice anime look to it and i love 2b. The size is great. i can hide it easy. There are Strict laws in Australia, where few people have been arrested. Im no pedo and dont feel this is childlike. You think this doll would be okay? There are other doll manufacturers that safe but they don’t look as nice and cost between 2000 to 4000.

    1. Steven

      Hi Andrew,
Unfortunately, I can’t answer this since I don’t know enough about Australian laws. I do know that they’re extremely strict on sex dolls, and last I heard, also on anime and hentai. You’ll have to ask an Australian vendor, someone knowledgeable in Australian laws, or do more research. Honestly, I have no clue what will happen if you order that.

  15. Baka

Hey Steven, how’s it going? I was wondering if you could shed some light on “” they have extremely cheap prices for what they sell, and seems too good to be true. Is it legit or a scam? ps. new site, made in 2023(8months old)

    1. Steven

      Hi Baka,
Unfortunately, I don’t know much about torsos, since I don’t consider them sex dolls (without heads). But having looked at the website, I’d guess that they’re probably legit (and they’re also on Dollforum). Most of their reviews seem fake though.
I wouldn’t say their prices are too good to be true. When it comes to torsos, always pay attention to the dimensions. They’re usually a lot smaller than they look, so taking size into consideration, I assume the prices are about average.

  16. Shane

Hey Steven, I am looking for Miko 5’5 TALL 70.5 LBS from Zelex and found her on Joy love Dolls. I am looking for an Asian with decent boobs and at least 5ft that is silicone. I cant seem to find any under 2000 but this site has it listed just under full price. Is it good? I have seen both positive and negative reviews but never anyone receiving a defect or wrong model, just wait times. If you wouldn’t recommend what would you suggest for my above preferences for hopefully under 2000?

  17. Mick

What is the best doll website for an Australian buyer? Preferably one with IROKEBIJIN available thanks.

    1. Steven

      Hi Mick,
Most vendors sell globally, but there are some Australian vendors like SexDollAustralia. Unfortunately due to Irokebijin’s style and Australia’s strict laws, you might not be able to get that brand in Australia.

  18. Reinhold

I am thinking about purchasing a ZELEX doll (Marie Head: GE53-2) via Sex Dolls Shop.
However the doll seem much cheaper than on the ZELEX website.
Even when taking several extra options (such as imlanted hair and a bit of equitment) the prices don’t seem to match (3200$ vs 3600$).
As far as I am aware of SDS is the most trustworthy vendor for dolls, so I don’t think it’s a scam.
Any ideas why that could be the case?

    1. Steven

      Hi Reinhold,
Every vendor has different prices. Unlike other industries, sex dolls don’t have MSRP or price controls. The price is completely up to the vendor. Vendors who have more operational/business costs and taxes usually sell higher (generally Western vendors), while Asian or Chinese vendors typically sell for the bare-minimum (and have different customer service standards).
Personally, I don’t recommend ordering directly from the brand. Generally, they focus more on design and production than customer sales. As a result, their websites tends to be outdated, and their customer service might not be very good. Zelex in particular doesn’t reply to my emails.. As long as it’s a reputable vendor, you’ll get the doll you ordered regardless of slight price variations.

  19. Cern

    do anyone know of (Realsexdollstore)

When i look at there website isnt there any comments on any of there dolls or any stars on any dolls

  20. Dianna

I recently made a purchase on and I’m starting to get suspicious. It’s only been two days but I’m not sure if I still trust it or not. I’d like to know your take on the website.

    1. Steven

      Hi Dianna,
I don’t have personal experience with them, but they should be ok (based on what I see on their website).

  21. Mike

I was curious if you know anything about It looks to be a new site and im skeptical about it, but they also carry a specific doll that The Doll Channel seems to have stopped selling, so i was wondering if it was safe for me to buy from them. Thank you in advance.

  22. Luis

Hi Steven me agian another question so what is the best sex doll brand in your opinion? What’s your recommendation for newbie?

    1. Steven

      Hi Luis,
In my opinion, there’s no best; there’s just different. Every brand appeals to someone out there whether it’s the aesthetics, material, price, options, or something else. Because it’s not “one-size-fits-all” and since everyone’s preferences, budget, and living situation is different, I can’t really answer questions like this. I’ve seen mixed opinions on everything doll-related. You could try something cheaper like a Kimber Doll to start, or go for the doll you really like best. I recommend doing research and browsing around various vendor websites to get an idea of what’s out there. Then narrow down your choices from there.

      1. Serge

        Hi Steven
I noticed you mentioned Kimber Dolls. I have been looking to buy one here in Canada but I’ve been unable to get in touch with them. Their site claims to be getting stock by mid January. Do you know if something is up with them?

        1. Steven

          Hi Serge,
Unfortunately, I don’t know anything about that. Everything seems normal in their dollforum section:
You can try asking there. Otherwise, I don’t know anything about their Canadian inventory.

          1. Serge

Thank you. I just received a message from them finally and they’re expecting stock in a couple weeks.

  23. Amis

Is Aielgood doll a decent company to purchase dolls from off Amazon ? I’ve read some decent reviews and it seems pretty legit for what I’m looking for.

    1. Steven

      Hi Amis,
Personally, I don’t recommend dolls from Amazon. They’re mostly all knockoff dolls, but if you trust Amazon’s return policy, it could be worth the risk. As for the reviews, most of them are fake. 90%+ are unverified 5-star reviews (that are vague and don’t mention any negatives).

  24. Rand

Hi I have two that I’d like to know if they are legitimate dealers.
They seem legit, but I’m not sure.
The second is in Canada called
Let me know if you have any info on these three brands as well if you could. Mastermate, Eden novelties, and AIBEI. All look good in pictures, but I don’t know if they are selling knockoffs.

    1. Steven

      Hi Rand,
Here’s what I said about Firstlovedoll before: (or loveshoptoys) seems like a legit company with many locations, but I never heard of them. Despite having so many stores, they don’t have much reviews online.
On that website, Mastermate and Eden Novelties seem like the same company. They basically put their brand name on OEM dolls. Assuming the photos are legit (and not stolen), they’re AF Dolls, which are budget-friendly dolls with decent quality. I don’t see Aibei on that website, but Aibei is generally a lower-end brand, similar to AF Doll. Their quality is ok for the price, but somewhat unpredictable. They’re usually overpriced on Western vendors though.

  25. Carlos

What’s your take on the MLW dolls?
From what I seen, the private part sculpts are truly art impressive, and placed than some other brands on market

    1. Steven

      Hi Carlos,
Unfortunately, I haven’t read enough reviews about MLW. From what I’ve seen, their dolls do look similar in-person, but one review said the material was too firm, and vagina too tight. I haven’t seen enough reviews to conclude anything though. There’s a MLW doll owner on Twitter named “Sillyconeman,” who can probably answer that.

  26. Abraham

Good kinda cheap dolls with shipping to Israel that you know of?

  27. Abraham

What about ASdoll and irondoll? I found Irondoll on Reddit and I’ve talked with the vendor for some time now and he seems legit send me files and explanation for everything? And then I found ASdoll, they have a site and a store on alibaba, the also said that they sell Irondoll dolls

    1. Steven

      Hi John,
They sell knockoff dolls with stolen photos. The most recognizable are photos stolen from WM and Piper Doll. Their prices are suspiciously low – even lower than most knockoff doll websites. Dolls for $68-150 are a huge red flag.
The doll in the cart is basically a knockoff of a 108cm WM Doll (which should cost 5x more). It’s using WM’s photos but obviously you’re not getting an authentic one at that price. It’s really just a gamble; you don’t know what you’re going to get from that website.

      1. John

Thanks for the reply 👍 I appreciate your work

  28. Kitt

Hi! So I’m shopping on LuxuryDolls.Shop, and I wanted to know if this may be a scam or not. I made a purchase in June and it’s now coming to the end of September, which would make almost 3 months now, and my order still says “Order Placed”. This is my first time buying a love doll, so I would understand if it took a while for my order to be ready to be shipped off, but I’m still suspicious. Do you have any feedback that can help me out with this?

    1. Steven

      Hi Kitt,
Have you tried contacting their customer service? They look like a typical knockoff doll seller. Low prices, stolen photos (with WM’s watermarks removed), lots of fake reviews, and just a very bare-bones website (with only 2 pages of dolls). If they don’t reply, try to get your money back asap (by contacting your payment provider). A TPE doll shouldn’t take 3 months to arrive. Almost everything is wrong about that website.

      1. Kitt

Thank you so much for your help, that’s what’s I was suspecting. I did try their customer service, and the phone number is fake, and the chat doesn’t respond to anything else other than the selected questions within their site.

  29. Ethereal

Hey there, sorry of this is another repeat question, but do you know if is legitimate? It would be my first doll and I’m either getting zelex or irontech silicone 165 to 170 cm.. not sure which one yet.. but I’m down to those brands. Any recommendations?

  30. Sterling

Hi, Steven. Regarding pricing and looking for red flags, when browsing several sites and seeing the same doll for slightly different prices, what are some important details to factor in? What is a ‘safe price’ to look for (for dolls between 5’5” – 5’9”)?

    1. Steven

      Hi Sterling,
I have a post here about red flags to look out for. It’s still more-or-less up-to-date:
In addition to height, there are many different factors that affect the price like material and brand. In that height range, TPE dolls are usually around $1500-$2000. Silicone dolls would be between $2000-$8000+. However, price alone isn’t a good indicator while a website is good or not. Customer service is equally as important.

  31. Sterling

Hi Steven, I’ve been browsing a few different sites and looking for the best/safest options. I’ve narrowed my search down to a few spots, but I want to know what you think about Silicon Wives ( ) ? And what tips do you have regarding discretion when receiving the doll? Thanks for the advice.

    1. Steven

      Hi Sterling,
Silicon Wives is legit, but last I heard, their customer service is fairly slow and unresponsive. That’s not a good sign when choosing a vendor in my opinion.

  32. Angie

I bought my first doll for around $1500.00 U.S. from a so called reputable site and it did NOT last for more than a year. This is all I have been getting is cheap quality the whole time no matter who I buy from. I did buy one from Ebay after getting burned TWICE and actually got what I ordered! She was $600!! Not bad! And its over a year old and still good! a third one same thing! Decent quality and sexy still is doing well but, she is falling apart too as the Vagina starts tearing after much use. So my gripe is, WHY are these things so damn expensive?! I am on a fixed income and am NOT rich!! They ALL only last around 1 year! ALL OF THEM I now own 4 I had 5 but one got so bad it was time for it to go bye bye. Another is on its way out now too. I wonder, why aren’t there recyclers? Repairers etc.. Hell if you have say 2 to 3 dolls, why can’t one exchange them for a discount off a new one? As they get OLD QUICK. ALL OF THEM. The $1500 and up for a doll in my opinion is BS considering they’re made in China. I bet they produce them for pennies on the dollar. Lets discuss weight. That too is an issue! Then I see a site called they advertise a range of prices due to them claiming to give you an option for size. (i.e. 4′ 7″ to 5′ 9″) So the smaller the doll, the lighter it is. I like that idea! And why aren’t there sites that since a person can spend THOUSANDS where you can mix and match your likes?? I feel this is the wild west of dolls right now because no one is offering up a fair deal so the scammers, like vultures amass to rip off everyone. There needs to be a demand for A: Recycling, B: Price control. C: Repairs and a place you can ACTUALLY SEE WHAT YOU’RE PURCHASING!! I see so many site barely show the Doll for what it is! All i see are the same photos slightly changed with mass clothing on and its a Wild Guess. thats not cool. We consumers demand better. Why can’t they simply do a front, side and rear view then do their dress up ideas??? Im telling you, I wish I could start my OWN company and I’d demand companies to drop their prices like Walmart if I buy X amount of each kind. Someone needs to do this and I am sure they’d make a killing because then they’d be reputable. Doesn’t Reputable and Quality matter anymore?!

    1. Steven

      Hi Angie,
There’s a lot to unpack here. I’ll just respond briefly.
      1) Price-wise, sex dolls are luxury products, and there’s kinda no way around it: Material + Labor + Shipping + Vendor (middle man) fee. Two big reasons why name-brand dolls are expensive are R&D costs and vendors. This isn’t really an issue for knockoff dolls (like the ones from Ebay), which are usually also mass-shipped by sea to save money. Chinese vendors don’t add much to the price, while Western vendors add quite a bit (but also offer better customer service).
      2) Despite all the advancements, sex dolls are still in the early phases. I agree that they’re still very flawed (quality-wise), especially since 99% of them are made in China. The difference in this industry is that most brands are Chinese. We’re used to Western brands manufacturing in China but maintaining Western standards. Meanwhile in the sex doll industry, it’s mainly all Chinese brands with Chinese standards.
      3) Most websites do have different bodies and heads you can mix-and-match. What you see on VSDoll is something that’s more common for knockoff sellers (“height options”). It’s considered deceptive because different bodies/heights have different proportions, while the promo photos (usually stolen) only show 1 body.
      4) I can see a demand for repair services (someone actually contacted me a while back and wanted to start a doll repair service). I agree with you that one of the biggest flaws in this industry is the inability to see dolls in-person before purchasing. It’s hard to justify spending thousands on something you can’t see, touch, or try out. Unfortunately, that’s completely up to the vendors/sellers (outside of China). Because most are just drop-shippers (you order a doll > it’s produced in China > then it’s shipped directly to your house), most vendors don’t have stores, warehouses, or showrooms where people can see the dolls. Unless more vendors open up physical locations, nothing will really change, which is the sad reality of it.
As for recycling, only the factories in China would have use for recycled dolls. Considering it probably costs hundreds to ship it back to China, I doubt many people would do this.
      5) Regarding promo photos, this is a big problem that’s actually getting worse. To sell as many dolls as possible, brands will make their dolls look as good as possible. This means they’ll use filters and photoshop, poses and clothing to add realism, and hide any flaws with the doll. Sometimes, this even means not showing the vagina. Although some brands do have simple front, back, and side photos, many brands choose the deceptive and “aesthetic” approach to sell their dolls.
      6) Extra thoughts: Some people wonder why are dolls only made in China and not in other countries? Probably due to stigma, manufacturing limitations, and environmental concerns, only China is willing to make them. However, there are at least 2 American sex doll brands, RealDoll and Sinthetics. If you think Chinese dolls are expensive, RealDoll charges over $7k per doll with a 1 year wait time. You can probably go through many Chinese dolls for the cost of 1 RealDoll.
Final note: One brand has done something cool in my opinion, which is Kimber Doll. They’re an Australian company that mass-produces 1 type of doll in China, then mass-ships them to various warehouses. Because of this, they’re able to offer their dolls for only $600. They became fairly popular and successful with this unique approach.
Anyway, good luck on your future business.

Hi Steven, does is a good site to order? They look pretty new. And about Does any user has a bad experience with them? Their website has no telephone, business mail or address, they have been banned in The Doll Forum I think, but a few sites said they are legit (?).

Thanks! For all your work to keep this site updated.

    P.D: I’m a first time buyer >.<

    1. Steven

      Hi Francis,
I never heard of gflovedoll but many of their customer reviews are fake. Since their prices aren’t anything special, I would choose a more established vendor to be safe.
Dollter is probably legit, but other than a few email messages, I don’t have any personal experience with them. If they’re banned on TDF, it’s probably because they sell small dolls.

  34. Gregory

Hi, is this a legit site and listing? They don’t have any prices on any of the dolls & only have a link for email. Their English is a little off but is this legit?

They quoted me through email that it cost 1900 but I was skeptical so I found her on sex dolls-shop and she’s like 2800 there. Is this a scam?

    1. Steven

      Hi Gregory,
That’s the official Irontech website so yes, they’re legit. Their “English is a little off” because they’re in China, and brands aren’t exactly known for good customer service. Usually, I recommend ordering from a vendor for better customer service and buyer protection. Ordering from Irontech is the cheaper option, while ordering from a vendor is the safer option. You’ll get the same doll, but if something goes wrong, they might not help you. A random customer doesn’t have the leverage that a vendor has. Having said that, many people seem to order from Irontech directly so you should do some research on their customer service first before ordering.

      1. Jake

        Thanks for letting me know.
I mean first time buyer so if the quality is decent enough and close to the original I rather test the waters as new territory for me so saving some money until I know its a good investment might not be a bad idea or will it be a bad experience?
        What do you think?

        1. Steven

Unfortunately, it’s unpredictable; I can’t say whether it’ll be good or not. Unless you know the factory where they’re made, it’s basically a gamble.
Generally, knockoff dolls have lower quality TPE, less flexible skeletons, wire wrists, goose-necks, etc, to cut down on costs, but for some people it’s good enough. However, it depends on the factory (and their quality control). I don’t know where VS gets their dolls from.
Everyone is different so it’s hard to answer your last question. You could try Kimber Doll, which is an affordable option. Some people had success with knockoffs from Hanidoll, but ultimately, knockoff dolls are a gamble. I recommend doing some research and finding real reviews if you’re going down that path, but I do think it’s a good idea to start with something less expensive. However, other than Kimber Doll and some mini dolls, I don’t know any other “good cheap dolls.”

      2. Smelter

        Hey man.
Is realsexdollstore legit or not ? They have the option to pay with Klarna.
But the things you tell us to look out for are there. And I want something to store easily. So I need to go for a mini doll. Like 100cm or max 120 cm so it fits underneath my closet. I made a secret hatch in the bottom of my closet. So my family won’t find it. Do you know a legit site that sells mini dolls like that ? I prefer based in the EU ? But if you don’t know them give me US options.

        1. Steven

          Hi Smelter,
They sell knockoff dolls, and look very untrustworthy. In the very first sentence of their About Us section, they claim to have launched in 2016 and that they’re TDF-approved, but their website was created in 2022, and they’re not TDF-approved. Already lying upfront. Their listings and “Factory photos section” are all stolen photos. Low prices and no brand names. They basically have every red flag in the book.
To put simply, most reputable or established vendors don’t sell mini dolls. Due to various laws, issues with payment processors, etc, most “legit” vendors simply won’t list them. That’s why when you search for mini dolls, all you find are Chinese knockoff doll vendors. Some reputable vendors might carry Irokebijin or Piper Doll’s mini dolls, but you won’t find much selection. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend any websites because as I said, most reputable vendors don’t sell mini dolls anymore. When I google “mini sex doll,” 99% of the results are Chinese knockoff doll sellers. If you go for one of them, it’s all a gamble.

Is kanadoll a good site to order from or a scam??

  37. CygnusX1

    Hi Steven,

Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions.

I recently purchased a Starpery “Sarah” model from My Robot Doll and had a great experience.

My friend is looking into getting a different Starpery model, and the website he wants to use and the Starpery model he is interested in:

Do you have any information on them? Trying to help him avoid any scam sites.

    Thanks again,

    1. Steven

      Hi CygnusX1,
I would recommend your friend also go with My Robot Doll. The price is about the same, and My Robot Doll is a reputable vendor, while the other is more unknown. Looking at SDS’s website, they seem legit, but I don’t know anything else about them. Better to play it safe than to be a guinea pig in my opinion (especially when the price is about the same).

      1. CygnusX1

Thank you sir, I appreciate it.

(Whoops, I replied to the wrong message thanking you, please don’t approve the reply to The Dude thanks)

  38. The dude

One website I cant really find anything on is are they legit

    1. Steven

      Hi The dude,
It’s hard to tell with this website. As you said, there’s no information about them online. The biggest red flag is no brand names, which is a very big red flag. They might be selling overpriced knockoff dolls. Their trustspot reviews may also be fake. Therefore, I’d say they’re risky to order from (high chance their dolls aren’t authentic).

  39. Oliver

Hi, I saw that used to be listed as a trusted vendor but now it appears that they are not listed in the main trusted page?

Are they still safe? Generally I prefer MyRobotDoll as I’ve used them before and them having ApplePay made everything so much simpler and secure, but I’m interested in a 72cm downscaled art doll and MRD does not seem to have these. Kumadoll doesn’t have ApplePay and the way they do their credit card transactions is kind of strange.

    1. Steven

      Hi Oliver,
Yes, Kumadoll is still a trustworthy vendor. Mainly, I removed them due to 3 reasons: 1) I didn’t like some of their marketing tactics (they since fixed some of it), 2) They used to be the only vendor that offered certain brands, but MyRobotDoll carries many of those brands now, and 3) I’m not 100% sure of their after-sales support; since most people have no problems, that remains unanswered. Having said that, they’re a legit vendor, and I like them. They’re just not on my list right now. Also, here’s a video of someone who ordered a mini doll from Kumadoll:

      1. Oliver

You mean where they would have a notification window on the bottom of the page saying so and so doll was just sold a few minutes ago, while also saying like only 9 people ever have bought that model? It seemed kind of impossible with how often the just sold banner would pop up. So yes, I noticed that too and it seemed really disingenuous but I am glad they finally got rid of that system. Good on them!

Aha, I noticed that too about myrobotdoll. More selection is always nice. Thank you for the link as well, although not exactly the brand I was looking at. It’s one of the more adult ladies with more refined features but just in 1/3 scale.

  40. Yurik

hi there, site legit or scam? thanks.

    1. Steven

      Hi Yurik,
At first glance, I can see they tried to imitate RealLoveSexDolls’ website. Based on what I see, I’d say they’re probably “not legit.” While many listings look correct in terms of brands, customization options, and specs, there are some red flags in pricing. Several WM bodies, such as the 166C and 163H (“Jasmine”) are priced too low at $1499. That isn’t very realistic. Additionally, their About Us section reveals many more red flags. From there, it’s quite obvious that they’re a Chinese company pretending to be a factory/manufacturer (when they’re really just a vendor). That alone kills their trust for me. Combined with no reviews online, they’re a risky website to order from.

  41. tyler

    is legit?

    1. Steven

      Hi tyler,
They’re a hard website to judge. They focus on affordable brands, including many lesser-known ones. Not only are you ordering from an unknown vendor (with unknown customer service), you’re also ordering an unknown brand (with unknown quality). It’s double the risk. I don’t have personal experience with them, so the risk is up to you, but it’s definitely gambling hoping to get a cheap, good quality doll from 2 unknowns.

      1. Rob

I bought a SY doll at Kanadoll and the response was not very fast. Responded to my questions the next day and sent me a video of the factory and some photos of the factory. It has been almost a week since I received the doll. The doll’s skin is a bit whiter than I thought it would be, but it’s a common color difference problem, and the doll’s nails fell off two, they sent me glue to fix the problem, I think the overall service is not bad.

  42. Joe

    Yo is life likedolls legit?

    1. Steven

      Hi Joe,
      I can’t find a website called lifelikedolls.

      1. joe

        1. Steven

They sell knockoff dolls. Mostly stolen photos from WM Doll and JY Doll. Red flags include low prices, no brand names, no customization options, incorrect heights, etc. The gamble and risk is up to you, but I personally wouldn’t recommend them.

  43. Bob

Also, stay away from RLSD (reallovesexdolls). They sold me a defective doll (hip joint broke after just 2 weeks), and they refuse to honor their guarantee. It appears that RLSD is a small drop ship operation with only 1 or 2 employees. No physical address.

    1. JD

If this is the same guy who posted a long comment thread about this on Reddit, there’s more to this story. RLSD arranged with the factory to ship him a new doll, but he got impatient (most dolls have a 30-day production time) and jumped the gun by filing a dispute with Paypal before the replacement was finished. I’ve never bought from RLSD before, but I’ve had a similar experience with a different vendor. The replacement arrived just like they promised, with the same production and shipping time as the defective original.

      1. Bob

Bottom line: RLSD sold me a defective doll. Told me to throw it away. Refuse to shil new doll.

Also, RLSD has been listed as a scammer on ourdollcommunity and banned from that website.

  44. M. F.

How do I know for sure before I order a doll, if the doll has oral capability? You can’t tell from the pics if the mouth is sealed shut or is an orifice. They say in the description that it is.
But I’ve seen unboxing videos of the same doll when they opened it up, the head had a sealed mouth. I can’t afford to go through a buying process to find this out and have to return a heavy doll and probably have to pay shipping.
Thanks for your time and reply

    1. Steven

      Hi M.F.,
Which doll are you looking at? If “oral depth” is listed in the description, it probably has oral. However, sometimes vendors make mistakes. Generally, hard silicone heads and mini dolls won’t have oral. Only silicone heads that specifically say “soft silicone” have oral. Meanwhile, most full-sized TPE dolls have oral. Having said that, sometimes the oral cavity is so small, you can’t even use it. If you send me a link, I can take a look.

      1. M.F

No, it was just a doll I was looking at online, and then I looked on YouTube at an unboxing video. It had a head that looked like on the doll online and it didn’t have oral, just a cheap head that looked like it had oral until you look close and it’s just a sealed mouth. I’d hate to have to go through a return because of this.
So I messaged the seller and asked if this doll had it. I wonder if I can trust his answer thanks

  45. Mike

Hi, is anyone familiar with They have some of their own dolls I haven’t seen elsewhere as well as selling other known brands.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    1. Steven

      Hi Mike,
They sell some controversial dolls but they’re most likely legit. I don’t know much else about them though.
