It was going to be a dead week; then as usual, infinite news dropped in the last 2 days – leaving me scrambling for air. This week, The Great TPE Revival began, where S-TPE weight reduction was all the rage, followed by endless photosets and smaller brands. SGD Studio also made an unexpected return as Velakiss. It was a mixed bag of news this week, so strap in for a bumpy ride.

WM Doll

Leading the week’s TPE revival is WM, whose been doing it all year. Their classic Head #233 is back – which was ahead of its time – on the tall and busty 173H body. An interesting combination, but you don’t want to know the weight.. 45 kg (99 lbs).

SEDOLL

Next, SE Doll aimed to solve the weight issue with their latest “LSTPE” option. With a traditional method, they added a “specially designed foam core” inside, reducing weights around 3.4-11 kg. One reason why TPE weight reduction never took off in the past was it made dolls noticeably firmer. However, SE Doll claims LSTPE retains the same softness and elasticity as S-TPE, and if that’s true (or at least mostly true), then that’s a huge win for TPE fans.

Next, for their 1-year SET Series anniversary, they teased not one, but 4, new torsos. One of them seems to have penetrable nipples for more distinct torso options. Not sure when they will release them.

Irontech Doll

Despite low (or neglected) traction in the West, Irontech released their 6th Young Series head: Tong (or Kiri). Like usual, the photographer dazzled with 200+ photos that were hard to narrow down. She looks decent with lots of poses and “openable and closeable eyes” for a wide range of expressions.

If that wasn’t enough photos, Irontech also brought in Suki on the 166cm 2.0 body. Granted, she looks a bit weird here. I wonder if the ROS MAX mouth changed the way she looked – because this feels like her best and worst photoset at the same time.

TAYU

Next, TAYU surprised everyone with their “Next-Gen Nova,” a big upgrade to their TPE “NOVA Series.” This includes weight reduction (a huge coincidence with SEDOLL’s LSTPE), and what better brand to do this than the masters of lightness and softness. The latest weight-reduction supposedly reduces the weight by a whopping ~30-40%. They claim “same softness where it matters” (breasts, pubic area, and butt), but 10-12% difference in other areas (which I assume means firmer). An interesting tradeoff that could either feel worse or more realistic. Their “Next-Gen NOVA” also debuts with a new TPE 153E body and the following upgrades:

• Weight Reduction – option for TPE bodies (~30-40% reduction)
• NOVA Breast 2.0 – new 3-layer breast structure for “soft, fluid feel of water-bag breasts” (taking a page out of Sino’s book), better long-term durability, and better “containment” (reduces leakage and prevents changes to breast shape, like shrinkage, over time).
• UR Painting by default – Previously, the NOVA Series had an option between R Painting or UR Painting. All Nova bodies now have UR (Ultra Realistic) Painting by default. They also claim the paint is 20% more durable than before.
• Unique Vaginal and Anal Textures for the 153E body (you can look this up yourself)
• Vagina depth: 14cm (Natural skin) vs 18cm (Tan skin). This makes no sense, but it was apparently always like this.

With all these upgrades, they debuted with a new head and body: 153E Nina. It’s basically their silicone 153E body (with minor 0-1cm fluctuations in the specs). Looks pretty good, and the new weight reduction makes them the lightest TPE bodies in the market.

They also showed Chiori on this body for a cuter vibe.

Funwest Doll

“Who started the TPE party without us?” Funwest asked as they released a new TPE 160D body + Vera head. A blonde Western beauty that entices you in, but could use the previously-mentioned weight reduction at 42 kg (93 lbs).

They also teased an upcoming silicone 152D body with Real Skin Texture. No photosets yet.

Jiusheng

As part of their new “European series,” Jiusheng released a cute head called Vanessa. Is the old Jiusheng finally back with more Western beauties? Vanessa looks quite beautiful and rowdy on the recent-ish 162cm that’s quickly becoming their flagship body.

On the same body, they also showed off Lisa – an existing head, but still one of their best. Unexpectedly fierce and seductive, she’s the bad girl I didn’t know I needed.

On the Asian side, they teased a new head called Gu Wanqing on the same body.

Firefly Doll

Meanwhile, Firefly Doll had some rowdy cowgirl or farmgirl photos of their own. Mary returns winning hearts as a Southern heartthrob.

Next, like an adult version of Stardew Valley, Lily is another farmgirl you can romance, who looks fiery with red hair.

SHEDOLL

Shedoll returned with 2 fancy sets. First, Jasmine’s feeling classy, indulging herself in red wine and cigarettes.

Next, Cynthia took a more traditional Japanese approach that’s almost too pink and rosy.

Sanhui

Sanhui released a new silicone AIO 160cm + Head #47. This seems to be a brand-new head and body, and while I’m not a huge fan of the head, they get points for another AIO doll. Fit yet meaty for a total of 38 kg (84 lbs).

MD Doll

In a two-for-one, MD Doll released 2 new heads: Ellema and Ifama. They’ve been trying to become the black doll brand, and they’re doing it.

Velakiss (SGD Studio)

A few months ago, SGD Studio closed a 3-year saga on figures and moved onto new ventures. That venture revealed to be Velakiss. From miniature figures to full-sized dolls, they’re actually a doll brand now (kind of). Will Game Lady finally have competition? Their first release is “V001 – First Bloom: Battle Maiden,” basically Chun Li. If they simply upscaled all their figures, they’d be rolling in dough. But instead, they took a new approach that I’m conflicted on. I think the face looks a bit young and she doesn’t really resemble Chun Li. An ominous start that their dolls might just look like cosplays, but I guess we can only wait and see. The body shape is nice though, even if it’s not muscular.

One interesting thing is the “dual size” where she comes in either 142cm (19.5 kg) or 153cm (24 kg) – though that might be deceiving unless they have 2 head sizes as well. They also oddly kept the collectible presale system with only 99 units available. Presales start today and end in 1 month (supposedly). Their followers (mostly figure collectors) seemed uninterested at this full-sized release.

Yuluoclub

Yuluoclub has been converting their bodies to S-TPE lately (or at least I think they’re conversions), with the latest one of the 156E Limo. She looks really cute, and signaling the rising S-TPE trend lately.

They also released a new S-TPE 150cm body a few weeks ago, and a 146cm that I won’t show.

WT Doll

I haven’t shown WT Doll since they launched, and missed like 7 heads and lots of bodies (but I don’t have time to catch up on those). The latest head is Wanwan, and I think this 166cm body is new. Looks decent.

Kiradols

Kiradols kept the more-normal heads coming with their latest called Yo. The face is a bit plain, but the cosplay is fancy.

MHDOLL

The new anime brand I showed last week (which I realized stands for Miss Hunter) still has more heads to show. This is the latest one. I couldn’t find much photos but she’s very anime-ish.

Aotume

Aotume released a new Head #140. This looks a bit more interesting than usual, but maybe it’s because of the fancy fox cosplay.

Zucki

Last week, I was wondering what happened to Zucki (the one-and-done JAV replica brand). Well, apparently they’ve been making other dolls that aren’t JAV replicas. They just released this one that I don’t know the name of, and a 155E Yuyu that looks familiar somehow. Apparently, Zucki’s still around despite never launching that Ai Uehara doll in the West.

Elsa Babe

Last, Elsa Babe has new photos of last week’s “yandere” head, and this style looks so much better. I didn’t even notice that bit of drool on her mouth before. Crazy how much difference the wig makes.

Conclusion

That wraps up a mixed week of doll news. At first, it seemed like there wasn’t going to be any news at all. Then SEDOLL and TAYU started dropping walls of text, and small brands saw their chance to pounce. This week, it was all about (S-)TPE and weight reduction. Like one big coincidence, brands all seemed focused on TPE at the same time. Whether the weight-reduction is as good or soft as advertised, we can only wait and see. But at least brands are listening and churning out upgrades the community’s been asking for. Velakiss was surprising though their presale strategy seems like a poor choice as they continued leaning into the “collectible” aspect. A collectible of a doll that doesn’t resemble the character..

Last, there’s a national holiday in China from October 1-7 (all factories will be closed). If you don’t hear from me next week, you’ll know why: literally no news. And I could use the much-needed break. Until we meet again!
