While all eyes were on lifelike robots at the World Robot Conference, in the doll world, we got Average August and delays. Though this post was delayed, the real delay was September’s 2026 SZI Expo postponement until further notice. More time for brands to focus on making dolls. This week, the summer-long anime and BBW trend raged on, while it rained endless heads from above. This post was a nightmare to put together (way too many releases) as Average August hit its climax and went Above Average. I’m already one day late so let’s try to catch up asap.
SEDOLL
Starting off with SEDOLL, their Maya returned in a batty or catty set where the T110J torso looks particularly juicy this week.

Irontech Doll
Irontech released a new 164LN body. No clue what the LN stands for, but this BBW body is the polar opposite of last week’s skinny body. Thick and juicy in all the right places, she weighs a whopping 60 kg (132 lbs) without the head, which is kind of crazy.

Also, their popular Eileen got an Oriental Series makeover, strutting the T158 body for the first time. Unfortunately, there aren’t any nude photos, which is a shame since this photographer seems really good.

Real Lady
Meanwhile, Real Lady’s recent Selina (R13) returned with mixed reactions. Previously, she had elegance and maturity, but they tried to make her younger, which resulted in this. I think the previous hairstyle which covered her forehead looked much better.

They also released their EVO Max 2.0 Skeleton. As skeletons continue to improve, the latest 2.0 includes 1.0’s double-jointed elbows, and upgraded the wrist, ankle, forefoot, and toes for smoother movement and more realistic posing.
Sino Doll
Out of nowhere, Sino Doll returned – so you know what that means: another anniversary. Celebrating their 6th anniversary, they released a new T149 body and 3 new heads. The first one, Miwei, is probably my favorite of the three.

Next, Mixing looks quite realistic though very similar to their previous designs.

And last is Mijing, with a chubbier face than usual and the most natural photography of the bunch.

MMX Doll
MMX Doll released a new AIO doll: the 160A (C-cup) MengSu. Featuring a new head and body, this was an unexpected choice for AIO. While I think there were much better choices for an AIO, the closed eyes was definitely a bold choice. She weighs 35 kg (77 lbs).

Zelex
Before fading into obscurity, Zelex resurrected their K-Series with a new ZK170F body. Of all their K-Series dolls, this is the bustiest with juicy melons on both her chest and behind. The butt is almost comical, but hey, butt lovers won’t complain.

Doll Senior
As previously teased, Doll Senior officially released their Scorpio head (on the 158K body). Here are more photos that I haven’t shown.

Video
XT Doll
XT Doll released a new head called Miya (ROS). Like every 153I set so far, they combined a cute face with the busty body once more.

Lusandy
Lusandy’s Belle returned on the 167B body with a vintage theme. Reminds me of Goldilocks for some reason, but I like the wig.

Firefly Doll
Firefly Doll gave Mary her first fantasy cosplay as a succubus. Works pretty well with her naturally seductive face with down-turned eyebrows.

Funwest Doll
After what felt like a while, Funwest Doll released a new head called Evelyn. New heads can always be hit-or-miss, but they definitely hit with this beautiful, celebrity-like face.

IDO Doll
IDO Doll released a new head called Ella (named by a TDF contest winner). A very lovely Western face that’s possibly their best one so far.

Jiusheng
Jiusheng released a new head called Feiyue, who’s meant to look more mature. However, I think 162G body stole the show in every shot, making it hard to even notice the head.

6YE/HR Doll
After some silence, 6YE brought back their monster BBW body for another shoot. This time, they had a classier, summer look highlighting the gigantic butt and muscular thighs. Reminder: this doll weighs 55 kg (121 lbs).

MD Doll
Meanwhile, MD Doll released a new head called Ella. Maybe since they haven’t released an Asian head in a while, she seems more interesting than usual. Almost anime-like, she has really cute style.

Climax Doll
After many goblin iterations, Climax Doll may have finally struck gold with their latest Bina. They ditched the mini figures and put her on the ULW 156cm body for arguably their best fantasy shoot this year (and best version of their goblins in my opinion). Just in time for The Witcher 3: Remastered.

Uneedoll
Keeping the cosplays going, Uneedoll released a new head called Longyue in a lovely angel cosplay. Probably their best photos so far as they moved away from the generic “Lacedoll” style.

Lacedoll
Speaking of Lacedoll, I usually skip them, but they had some sets there were too cute not to show.

Kiradols
Kiradols returned with a new anime head called Snowball. A fitting name for a white cat theme, she has heterochromic eyes and their typical stylized anime look, which I always thought looked a bit derpy.

They also have an interesting cosplay of their 155D Himari, but I can’t remember the character. Let me know in the comments.

Yearndoll
I forgot to check Yearndoll in a while and noticed two new things. First, they have a lighter 163cm Yusumi, promoted as “Super Lightweight” at 19.5 kg (43 lbs) somehow. They also released a new anime head, LZ04, which looks a lot like BC Doll’s Kokona (the two brands are related).

Dolls Castle
In-between the muscular futanaris and straight-up animals, Dolls Castle sometimes makes dolls based on existing characters. Well, no one saw this one coming: Marge from The Simpsons. Damn it, Dolls Castle. No one asked for this, but I guess we can play Homer now. They also released a centaur and dragon as their whacky antics can’t be stopped. Don’t let the sizes fool you though as they’re deceptively heavy: Marge – 40 kg (88 lbs), Dragon – 40.5 kg (89 lbs), Centaur – 45 kg (99 lbs).

Ridmii
As a palette cleanser, Ridmii returned with a new head that I think looks great. Their heads were getting better and better (before they disappeared for months) and they didn’t disappoint. It’s probably heavily edited, but they typically don’t use AI (at least not recently).

Sigafun
Next, Sigafun released something new. Either the head is new or it’s just new makeup, but either way, she looks good.

Bezlya
I was hoping Bezlya would release this set by now, but I guess we’ll have to wait. Seems like a new head called Lihuihai that resembles Stellar Blade’s Evie. (image is very small) Edit: oops, it’s “LiHuiNai.”

CY Doll
I stumbled upon some photos of supposedly CY Doll’s latest 165cm body. Maybe it’ll come to Top-Cydoll one day.

Kagami
Last but not least, I wasted a lot of time looking into this so I might as well share it. It’s an 81cm figure from an unknown brand called Kagami but looks really detailed. They supposed had a 50-piece presale that sold out in July and recently started another presale. No one here can order it anyway (outside of China); just decided to throw this in because it kept popping up. Don’t even know if it’s usable, but they mainly promote in doll communities it seems.

Conclusion
That wraps up possibly the climax of Average August, where the quantity was so high, there was bound to be some quality. There were tons of new heads alongside the usual anime and BBW trend. But Marge from The Simpsons? Dang it, Dolls Castle, I thought they were headed in the right direction with Bonnie recently. Unfortunately, Moonvale wasn’t around to balance things out. Climax Doll’s latest goblin is worthy of a “goblin deez nuts” joke, and I was a fan of Funwest and Ido Doll’s new heads. Well, I have no more appointments so it’s full speed ahead for doll news. Until next time!
Thoughts on the climax of Average August? Comment below!

I feel like it’s important to mention that the new MMX doll has a 6.6 head ratio and 44cm wide shoulders, making it the doll with the most realistic proportions in the entire doll industry at the moment. The company even publicly stated that “This time, we chose to stay true to female proportion” with these measurements, which is finally an admission that the usual 7-8 head ratio and ~35cm shoulders that most dolls have is not realistic.
People usually look at me like I’m crazy when I say that the dolls have too small heads and too narrow bodies, so it’s very nice to be vindicated by this statement.
