Last week, Christmas started early with a flurry of news, but left no seconds this time around.. Unfortunately, the updates dried up as some brands were at an expo, while others were replenishing their reserves. Looks like it’ll be a quiet Christmas this year since there wasn’t much to see. The biggest news was Zelex’s new SLE 3.0 upgrade, and just a few photos from other brands. Therefore, let’s get Christmas jingling as we breeze through an incredibly short week of news.
Elsa Babe
Still going strong, Elsa Babe released a new head called Kaneda Shio. Although another anime head, I thought the eye design was more unique than usual with white eyelids, giving a fluffy/snowy look.
Zelex
Headlining this week, Zelex upgraded their SLE series to 3.0. About a year since they launched 2.0, the latest SLE 3.0 features 6 huge and welcomed improvements:
- Weight Reduction: 3-4 kg (7-9 lbs) lighter among all bodies
- Softer body: “Fully soft inner core” for a more realistic feel
- Sexual Improvements: Softened vaginal and anal cavities
- Increased Durability: “Reinforced silicone material for improved tear-resistance”
- Standing without bolts: Hard feet that can stand on its own (still not recommended for long-term standing)
- More flexible: Joints are more flexible for “smoother motion and longer-lasting durability”
Each feature is highly welcomed, like weight reduction and increased softness. And aesthetically, they’ll look the same since it was mostly internal/material changes. While it’s a noticeable improvement from 2.0, they’re still missing some things like toe joints and the new hand skeleton many brands have. Well, to maintain their affordable prices ($1800 in-stock), you can’t have everything. Overall, this year’s SLE iteration seems like a great success while maintaining its cost-effectiveness.

Fanreal
Fanreal shared more photos of their UniSeries, AIO 170G Maria. Nice to see that their UniSeries isn’t forgotten, even if it’s just a new photoset.
MMX Doll
Next, MMX Doll released a new 85 torso (103 with head) featuring their Menghan head. With Real Skin Texture and natural proportions, she looks quite realistic and pretty – though still a bit heavy at 23 kg (51 lbs) without the head.
Starpery
After much silence, Starpery returned with a new silicone 160C body. Featuring their Lubby head, they unleashed their artistic side with a petite and graceful figure. A vendor (Booty Call Dolls) said it will also be available in 150cm and 175cm heights – so I assume Starpery likes it so much, they’ll scale it up and down. She weighs around 26 kg (57 lbs) with Weight Reduction 4.0, and looks well-proportioned. (they also edited out her neckseam in some photos)
They also released a new head called Luli in a very anime-ish style. Looks somewhat interesting and a step in a different direction for them.
Tayu
Tayu celebrated Christmas with new photos of their silicone 150C Yuki. She looks pretty cute, and they emphasized her round assets.
Sanhui
Keeping the momentum going, Sanhui shared new photos of their 158cm Miantu (Head #34). With a cutesy Asian style, the photos are bright, colorful, and very Sanhui in style.
Doll Senior
Doll Senior teased many Christmas photos lately, but still haven’t released most of them. For now, here are some new shots of the 160D MeiXiao (ROS), as well as the 170G Celestia and 165F Sable.
MD Doll
Meanwhile, MD Doll released 2 new heads, starting with an Asian head called May. In a Wuxia swordswoman cosplay, she looks pretty interesting though they didn’t pose her much. Some action poses with the sword could have spiced things up.
Next, they welcomed in Christmas with the 166D Eileen. In their usual full-lipped style, she’s the latest hottie who looks good in red.
Top Fire Doll
Meanwhile, Top Fire Doll released a new head called Ingrid. With an interesting Viking theme (which reminds me of Irontech’s Snow Angels last week), she looks pretty nice in these simple, but effective photos.
Kulovedoll
Showing signs of life, Kulovedoll finally returned with 3 new heads. Their debut dolls looked pretty good so I was curious what would come next. Unsurprisingly, they have 3 more compelling Western heads, showcased on 3 different bodies.

Iro (Last but not least)
Quickly adapting, Iroke released 2 new anime heads, shifting toward taller bodies this time. This includes Komachi (S-TPE 149cm & 156cm) and Hiiro (150cm Big Breasts). They look interesting, though maybe not as memorable or iconic as their earlier designs. I’m still waiting for them to revive their Piper series.
Conclusion
That wraps up a quiet and chilly Christmas special. Zelex’s SLE 3.0 stole the show, which had many important upgrades. While they don’t have the latest technology like Real Skin Texture or toe joints, they found their niche in the right price range, giving the most bang-for-your-buck. Otherwise, there were some interesting things here and there, like Starpery’s return, more from Kulovedoll, and some Christmas photos. There was also an adult expo in Shenzhen last weekend, but I couldn’t really find anything besides 1 or 2 pictures. In the end, last week was really the peak for December. I’m predicting a few more Christmas photos before the year’s over, but hopefully there’s more than just that.. As always, stay tuned for more sex doll news!

That SLE 3.0 upgrade is pretty cool! But im more interested in robotics though.
Hopefully, next year will have more robotics. Besides some robotic head teasers/prototypes, surprisingly not much actually came out. I guess they’re still in the early stages.

That second head (the Western one) from MD Doll looks kinda terrifying. Perhaps it’s far too large for the body it’s on.
The latest head sculpts from IB feel really weak. Have they been left spinning their wheels trying to figure out where to go from their previous style that was deemed to be too childlike?
In contrast, ElsaBabe continue to reinforce themselves as the undisputed kings of anime-style heads. That gorgeous white eyelash painting is something else.

Oversized head for the body seems common for MD Doll lately.. something felt off but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it.
I agree with Iro. Maybe I looked at too many Elsa Babes lately, but Iro feels outdated now in comparison. I get what they were going for with their latest heads, but they look a bit generic or plain? Not memorable like their earlier designs, or maybe Elsa Babe just spoiled us.

Waiting for Zelex to finally show their Diva head series to the entire world. Apparently it’s already being shown in some show rooms in Asia and they really nailed it.

Interesting. I thought Zelex wasn’t popular in Asia (since they rarely promote there). That looks pretty good, and a nice change of pace since their heads have gotten a bit repetitive lately..

This means that in about a year, we’ll be able to see SLE 4.0, which, in addition to everything that was in previous versions, will have hinges in the toes and an even lighter weight, say 26-30 kg. This will be progress for the heaviest model in version 3.0.
I like how we can tell time by SLE versions lol. If I remember correctly, the only difference in 2.0 was increased durability, so 3.0 was a big upgrade.
If SLE 4.0 is even lighter and has toe joints, that’s probably the best possible scenario. Every version gets more durable, so durability too. Probably no Real Skin Texture since that requires new molds (& I think every version uses the same molds; they only change the blend and materials). Assuming they can keep the same price, 4.0 could have even greater durability, weight reduction, toe joints, and maybe something with the hands (either hard hands, anti-puncture, or a new hand skeleton). But 3.0 just came out and we’re already thinking about 4.0. 😅

The Starpery 160C checks a lot of boxes – hot, plausible (let’s hope), normal height, low weight. We can’t really gauge plausibility until we know the specifications but the doll looks promising. We’ll see. As always, thanks for the great blog.
