Sex Doll News: Anime Dolls, Irokebijin, BBWs, Teasers, & More

Atypical August marches on with many new releases. This week, sex doll brands dropped a mixed bag containing anime dolls, BBW bodies, and figurines. It’s been a common theme the entire month. But wacky or not, there was thankfully much more news than last week. Without further ado, let’s see what colorful dolls came out this time around.

WM Doll

WM Doll returned with a new photoset of their 160cm (G4) body with Head #319. A very interesting combination – reviving a popular 2021 head onto the anime 160cm body (never-before-seen with a regular head). As expected, it creates a unique fusion (which is the beauty of dolls).

SE Doll

After endless photosets, SE Doll released a new silicone head called Liam. With a pretty and gentle face, I’m a big fan of this design.

They also shared a new photoset of their TPE 157cm Felicia. Very elegant photos with new makeup and bold red colors.

Piper Doll also returned with new photos of their silicone 140cm Ariel and 155cm Ichika (in unique styles). Starting with the classic Ariel, with a sleek, Russian-look here.

Next is Ichika, Westernized in appearance for the first time. Similarly with platinum blonde hair, she looks very different, but retains her quirky smile.

Irokebijin released a new S-TPE 130cm body and many new heads. This includes Rio, Ema, and Yui (with 2 versions each) – totaling 6 new heads. According to Irokebijin, their big (“1-size-fits-all”) anime heads fit on every S-TPE body from 110cm to 155cm.

Lately, Irokebijin has been on a roll. Combined with the recent Abby-Y and Aisa, that’s 8 heads in 3 weeks, offering a wide range of emotions. Here’s a little recap of all the heads (they have photosets, but I won’t show them). Note that Rio and Ema have elf ears (not sure about the other heads).

They also shared new photos of their HSS 148cm Akane (one dressed as Hatsune Miku). Since the launch of their HSS series, they’ve really gone all-out on the clothing, costumes, and bikinis. One of the few brands that heavily focuses on (and designs) doll clothing.

Elsa Babe

Elsa Babe released a new head called Kikukawa Rei, based on Path to Nowhere’s Cabernet. With a bold and stylish look, she greatly resembles the game character, looking more unique than their usual heads.

EXDOLL

EXDOLL teased a new head called Yala or Yara on the 166-SEVO body. I’m not sure why they covered her face when the photos are already finished (but they did this before..). For now, she looks fairly cute.

FANREAL

Fanreal teased their first-ever “African” head coming soon. Since black dolls are still a fairly untapped niche, what better brand to design one than Fanreal.

They also shared a factory video and photos of their recent Gina head. Here, she looks very realistic, and you can see all the facial details up-close.

YearnDoll

Yearndoll released a new silicone 162cm K-cup body, with Head Y216. It reminds me of Tenbudou Doll, who combines cute heads with thick, BBW bodies. Although she weighs a hefty 43 kg (95 lbs), it’s not often that you see cute BBW dolls like this.

They also shared new photos of their 158cm body with Head Y201. Nothing new here but she was well-posed.

FUDOLL

FUDOLL shared a new photoset of their silicone 163cm Sally (was shown before in a nun outfit). I can’t tell if the face has some AI or not (it seems kind of edited), but she looks very beautiful here.

They also teased an upcoming silicone 161cm body. It’s fairly slim and proportional, and only weighs 29.2 kg (64.4 lbs) – according to the specs, that’s “with head.”

SHEDOLL

Shedoll released their 2 previously teased heads: Star and Moon. Starting with Star, I like her elegant and classy style, and the head and body fits well together.

Next is Moon, who also looks elegant with a thinner face. They’re both supposed to be celebrity-like heads, and I think they more-or-less captured that.

Doll Senior

Speaking of BBW dolls, Doll Senior teased a new 160cm body in their debut “Tank series.” Not many vendors carry them, but this is their first meatier body. The body alone weighs around 35 kg (77 lbs), which is lighter than the one from Yearndoll.

The timer is to show that there’s no slow-motion effect. Most of the other text is just marketing stuff.

Aicos Doll released a new Tifa head, this time on their silicone 159cm body. Unlike the last one I showed (169cm hybrid), this one greater resembles Tifa (with bigger eyes). Perhaps Game Lady and Aicos both referenced the same Tifa model (from FF7: Remake) since they look almost identical. More competition in the Tifa market.

Funwest Doll

Funwest Doll teased their upcoming silicone Assos head (TPE-to-silicone conversion) in a behind-the-scenes photoshoot video. Looked like a fun shoot, and Assos still has her doe-eyed look.

Figurine dolls have been trending lately, as a new brand called BC Doll launched with a 76cm D.Va figure (from Overwatch). Like I said with Minerva recently, there’s a hole but I don’t know how usable it is..

They also launched with a Yae Miko head (from Genshin Impact). These figurine dolls have helped merge the sex doll, figurine, anime, and gaming communities together (which is probably a good thing).

Butterfly Doll

Last but not least, Butterfly Doll released (or should I say re-released) the TPE 140cm Miho. Unlike the previous 140cm dolls on Ariel’s body, this is the original 140cm Miho (which has her own body). Interestingly, this was the one doll that Mizuwali never photographed. (The original Piper Doll Miho was photographed by Doll Banger) These photos, of course, are from Butterfly Doll’s photographer.

Drama Update

Speaking of Butterfly Doll, Mizuwali finally sent me the full story behind the drama. After reading it, it explained a lot – so I plan to completely scrap and rewrite my “drama post” (but it won’t be finished for a few days). Why was my initial “drama post” so confusing with the fragmented chapters? Well, my discussions with both sides weren’t as “even” as you might think.

While Butterfly Doll sent me entire essays defending themselves, Doll Forever only replied in short sentences, mainly stating that Mizuwali didn’t want to talk about it. Therefore, I couldn’t really piece together the story. For 2-3 weeks, there were 1000-word-essays from one side, and 1-2 sentences from the other. However, Mizuwali finally broke his silence and filled in most of the puzzle.

Update: The drama has been rewritten here: https://celesdolls.com/doll-forever-vs-butterfly-doll-the-complete-drama-saga/

Conclusion

That wraps up another week of sex doll news. August rolled on with more anime dolls, teasers, BBWs, and figurines. Definitely a mixed bag of variety this week. While not everyone is into anime dolls, it has created a bridge into a huge market and niche for some time now. Same with the figurine dolls (lots of figurine collectors and content creators talked about SGD Studio’s Tifa). In the end, everything will overlap with dolls.. because we all need love, right?

Anyway, Mizuwali’s return has been largely anime-based, with a large focus on the Japanese market. I also noticed that their new S-TPE dolls are very affordable (ranges between $800-1200 depending on height). That’s interesting, but still no reviews on their new S-TPE material yet. Hopefully, some attention shifts back to Piper Doll, which I believe is more popular than Irokebijin (at least in the West). Now while I go rewrite my drama post for the nth time, stay tuned for more sex doll news!

I am new to the market trying to figure out what I would like. I have been looking at the Irokebijin dolls, and I notice there are photos of a similar looking 110cm anime body as the new 130cm body listed here. I am not sure if the 110cm body is also new, or if it has been around for some time…. but these two are very different from the other Irokebijin dolls I have looked at, which all seem to feature very exaggerated breasts and hips. I also notice the 110cm body is just a little bit chubby in the belly and thighs compared to the 130cm! It is quite cute (I want to pinch her belly) and I would love to see the same thighs/hips/belly shape on a full size doll, maybe closer to the 140-150cm range.

Speaking of figurine dolls, Do you know what’s going on with SGD and Manyou Studio 2B dolls?

I was waiting a few days before the pre order ends but then noticed Kumadolls posting a 2B doll with SGD photos saying its from Manyou Studios and for only half the price.

    1. Steven

SGD Studio is related to Manyou (I don’t know the exact connection but my contact works at both). The half price on Kumadoll is the deposit. You have to pay the balance when the doll is ready or pay full upfront in their options.

I was under the impression butterfly dolls kept all the original molds, Did Miziwali have to remake the molds from scratch? Also if I buy a piperdoll from a reputable third party do they get the doll from dollforever or butterfly doll? I have so many questions and I would really appreciate some answers.

    1. Steven

      1. Yes, Doll Forever left their original factory meaning that the factory (Butterfly Doll) has all the original molds. Doll Forever is remaking all the molds from scratch at another factory.
      2. If you buy one of the original Platinum TPE Piper Dolls, it’s not coming from Doll Forever because as mentioned, they physically can’t make them anymore. If a reputable vendor still has the old TPE Piper Dolls listed, then their catalog is probably outdated because all vendors were told to delist them. Only Butterfly Doll can make the old versions now – Piper Doll’s new versions are in S-TPE. Silicone Piper Dolls are unaffected, only TPE.

      1. DollOgler

Thank you, now I understand what’s going on on the TPE side. How come silicone Piperdoll silicone are not affected?

        1. Steven

Silicone Piper Dolls are made in a different factory. The drama is only with their TPE factory.

          1. DollOgler

Oh okay. Now I finally have a complete understanding of the situation. Thanks for answering my questions.

  4. Rebel Drifter

Excellent work again but I still want to nag you about putting in websites/links to the respected makers.

  5. ItsAme

Rio is great! Elsa Babe has a few dolls with those lewds expressions too and they are really nice.
Feels like it has been a long while (in particular since Mizuwali got banned from Twitter) so glad to see him back at it (he’s also back on Twitter).

  6. Rass

It feels like FanReal specifically adds more features to the last two faces just so they don’t look too perfect. I love them perfect…Maria has features but all of them are perfect, the last two ones have something off a bit more masculine and imperfect details.

  7. Richard

Elsa Babe, please give me Path to Nowhere’s Zoya

  8. magnussam

    Thanks for the news Steven!
Just wondering if Mizuwali have plans to add articulated fingers to the piper doll line now that they are located in a new factory? The lack of articulated fingers is basically the only thing holding me back from ordering another piper. Love Akira. Hopefully they will also use the silicone molds to produce a shorter Akira version (the New 160 Akira looks fantastic) but its just too heavy for me.

    Thanks again.

    1. Steven

I don’t know if he has plans to do this at the new factory or not. However, he talked about this recently (early July). He said he preferred the wire fingers because if customers bend it the wrong way, it simply bends, while articulated fingers would break.

He also mentioned how most brands get articulated fingers from a special supplier (brands don’t make their own), and because his dolls’ palm sizes don’t fit the standard, the options of custom-made hand skeletons or remaking the doll molds were both too expensive. (Ironically, he could have remade the molds at the new factory with standardized hands, but I didn’t hear anything about that). Therefore, only some of his dolls have articulated fingers (the ones with standard-sized palms).

As for Akira, they’re also remaking the 150cm versions (both small and big breasts).

      1. magnussam

        thanks for the information 🙂

Emm I guess with the fingers, this is true with most articulated fingers, but Jiusheng, and Sino uses fingers that also bend in both forward, and backwards directions, which is an effective solution. I would pay extra for this feature. Oh well, you can’t have everything I guess.

    2. IconOkee

Wow that African doll looks good! I hope aicos doesn’t stop with tifa

  9. Jackson

That Fanreal African doll looks hot!

    FUDoll Sally looked good.

SHEDOLL Star looks like Rae Lil Black

Doll Senior Boob and Butt action looked nice.

Thanks for the post this week!

    1. Steven

No problem. Thanks for stopping by again. 🙂

  10. John

Lol butterfly dolls, Miho vagina stretching reminds me of the terrible design of my 150cm Akira also. Terrible design. A few usage and if you spread the leg, you’ll get immediate tearing.

    1. Steven

I forgot how much the original Piper Dolls gaped like that. It was noticable in the 140cm photos last week too (which I didn’t show). But, I’ve generally seen more good reviews than bad (at least years ago). More people said they’re good for sex, but some people had tearing problems as well.

  11. David

The drama between Butterfly Doll and Doll Forever is longer and more exciting than a TV series 🤣. My gossipy self can’t resist want to check out the latest updates in the thread.

    1. Steven

Glad to hear you enjoy it, but I’m tired of writing about it. 😂 Hopefully, this will be the last revision, but I know that it won’t..

Both sides want the last word (which is understandable since they have a business and reputation to defend). I’ll present as much as I can from both sides, so they can both feel heard and move on. Ultimately, it’s the reader who decides who to side with.

However, because this story involves something nefarious, neither side lives happily ever after (in the end). Turns out, my “Top 10 Anime Betrayals” joke was actually true. Betrayal is a major theme in the full story..
