As summer heats up, dolls adapt by getting hotter. This week, it was time for smaller brands to shine. Doll Senior and Firefly Doll had interesting new heads, but it was Sanhui who stole the show with mountains of updates. Anime trended as usual, and even HS Doll returned. Check out the latest doll highlights as summer rages on.

SEDOLL

Starting with SE Doll who went all-in with another fancy dress-up. This time, they have the T111G Aria Knox in a colorful tribal/islander style that gives her a distinct but fitting look.

Elsa Babe

Elsa Babe released a new head called Mizuki Izumi – reminiscent of their roots before going all-in on anime. Seeing this pretty semi-realistic style again is a nice change of pace, and she looks a bit like FF13’s Lightning.

Real Lady

Real Lady shared new photos of their 159cm Shizuka (R7). I’ve skipped some Irontech and Real Lady sets lately (since they got a bit stale like Fanreal), but this one isn’t too bad.

Top-Cydoll

Top-Cydoll’s beautiful Sofia returned on their recent 161L body. The newfound bustiness suits her very well.

Doll Senior

Speaking of busty, Doll Senior released a new head called Izayoi (on the 170G body). Much different from their usual heads, this one’s more mature and sophisticated. And while she may not be the most popular, she’s unique and different at least.

Firefly Doll

Meanwhile, Firefly Doll released their 4th Western head, Rona. With an exotic look and very subtle smile, I find her more pleasant (and less angry) than their previous ones. In fact, I think she looks pretty cute, though the “Instagram model makeup” turns her into something feistier or seductive. As much as Mary was growing on me, this is probably my favorite Western head from them now.

Gynoid

Unexpectedly, Gynoid released a new head called Limi (Lian Er) shown on various bodies. But unlike Rona above (which brought something new), Limi feels like more of the same. She looks almost identical to Vivi (but less cute?), and her photos repeat outfits from previous sets. From the design to photos, this release unfortunately felt a bit lackluster.

Sanhui

Headlining, this was Sanhui’s week to shine with tons of updates, starting with a new silicone 165cm Q-cup body. Looks like big breasts are trending as Sanhui brought out the big guns, or rather, the Q-cups. A bit heavy at 37 kg (81.5 lbs without the head?), but fans of juicy melons and cleavage will drink to this.

They also showed off the 165Q with Head #46, giving the busty body a mature pairing. However, maybe because the breasts are so large, the butt seems somewhat flat in comparison.

They also released 2 new AIO bodies (which they oddly never advertised; I just found them on a vendor’s website). Starting with the 146E with Head #13. I’m guessing this is one of Jiusheng’s photographers because it completely matches their style, and she looks great at a manageable 27 kg (59.5 lbs).

The other new AIO is the 145cm + Head #12. The head might be numbered wrong (doesn’t match the old Head #12), but regardless, she makes for a busty elf. Somehow, this one’s much heavier than the 146E above at 32 kg (70.5 lbs).

FUDOLL

Meanwhile, FU Doll released a new 152cm body (with Real Skin Texture) and head called Yixia. Very anime-ish and cutesy, and while not super unique, it’s a nice body.

MD Doll x Rosemarydoll

The vendor, Rosemarydoll, collaborated with MD Doll to release an exclusive head called MD-R01. It’s MD Doll’s usual style, but the colors, backdrop, and cosplay all work hand-in-hand to make her stand out. In the end, she looks pretty good.

JX Doll

Next, JX Doll also released a nameless head: M15. At first glance, she looks what some would call uncanny and almost AI, but the included video looks similar. Silicone head on TPE body, she’s weirdly interesting so I had to show her.

Yuluoclub

Yuluoclub had another fancy photoset. This time, their 163cm Nao cosplays as Albedo from Overlord, taken by arguably the trendiest doll photographer as of late (woodyex).

BCDOLL

As previously-teased, BC Doll released their Frieren head (N02A) based on the anime. She looks kind of cute and resembles the character, but her expression is rather plain. For those who wanted a full-sized Frieren (who’s apparently 1000+ years old), this is a decent option.

They also teased a new body that looks short and heavy, but thick and busty. Makes me wonder what anime character they have planned with this.

Aotume

Coincidentally, Aotume also released a Frieren head (#134), which looks very similar but in TPE. But unlike BC Doll’s version, this one doesn’t have elf ears (she’s wearing an accessory). She also launched with Head #133 (Fern), another character in the anime.

SGD Studio

As their presale drags on, SGD Studio showed off SGD008’s included underwear. They said they would share more but didn’t. However, they did share a video of the new “Magnetic Eyeball System.”

HSDoll (Manyou x CY Doll)

Eight months since their launch, HS Doll finally released a new head M15 for their 142C body. This brand always seemed interesting since they’re from Manyou (parent company of SGD Studio), and only now revealed to be made by CY. That makes a lot of sense as the faces look similar. But unlike regular dolls, they’re proportioned more like upscaled figures (so more artistic than realistic), and this one is another pretty one.

Conclusion

That wraps up another somewhat short week of doll news. Lazy summer vibes but there was still a lot of see – like tons of new heads. The busty trend was clear this time around, as was anime. Doll Senior tried something more mature while Sanhui maxed out the breast sliders. Anime was popping as always, and Firefly Doll’s latest Rona almost rivals Top-Cydoll’s Eria last week. Otherwise, it was mainly head variety, and whether they landed or not, will be different for everyone. Anyway, were the breasts big enough or do brands need to go even further for science?
