On December 2, 2020, Doll Forever released a new super realistic, silicone head called Artemis. This came as a huge surprise because Doll Forever, along with Piper Doll and Doll House 168, are known for their more cartoony and fantasy-style heads and bodies. Ironically, they designed arguably the most realistic head currently in the market (more-so than brands that focus on realism). This could be the beginning of a huge style-shift from Doll Forever.
Because of how detailed and realistic the head looks, Doll Forever’s 155cm Fit TPE body (used to model the head) looks very plain and cartoony in comparison. Hopefully, Doll Forever designs some realistic silicone bodies to match these new heads. They hinted that more realistic silicone heads like this are coming soon. Definitely not designed by Mizuwali, I believe I read somewhere that they hired a new French designer. Hopefully, that designer can craft some bodies that fit the head next. If Doll Forever keeps this up, they could potentially dominate both the fantasy and realistic doll market.
