After an explosive past few months, things finally began to slow down in the doll industry. Most likely, brands were busy all week preparing for the 2025 Asia Adult Expo (which starts today) – Tue-Thur for a huge expo seems kind of odd.. But within the small news pool, big explosive things still happened – such as Tayu’s Nova Series going into presale, new releases from Real Lady and Fanreal, and much more. Without further ado, let’s jump straight into the oddly quiet yet busy news week.

Elsa Babe

Elsa Babe released a new head called Utagawa Miki. Their latest stylized face, the sleepy and shy expression fits the cutesy catgirl cosplay.

Irontech Doll

Irontech Doll officially released their Violet Voss replica doll. Honestly, I forgot that they haven’t released her; I thought she came out with Eila Adams and the other replicas, but apparently not (even though she was announced first). Well, the 178cm Violet Voss replica doll is finally here.

Real Lady

Back with another head, Real Lady released their latest: Alodia (R9). Described as a Monaco-born, half-blood beauty, she has a charming look and radiant smile (with ROS Max). Interestingly, reactions were mixed, and Real Lady also caught some flak for photoshopping out the neck seam in the factory photos, but these photos look nice as usual.

Game Lady

2 years since their last body, Game Lady finally released a new 170cm body with Head No. 32 – recreating the video game character, Bayonetta. More info here.

FANREAL

As previously teased, Fanreal released their first body with Real Skin Texture (same 155F body as before) with a new head called Kimmy head. I think the head is quite pretty, and the blush adds a certain cuteness.

They also shared photos of Gina on the 155F RST body as well. With a new blonde look, they showcased more up-close details of the Real Skin Texture.

In addition to Real Skin Texture, they released a feet upgrade called “Upgraded Movable Joints.” With this upgrade, each toe is independently movable, and the ankles are more realistic and natural. This side-by-side comparison video gives a good idea of the difference.

TAYU

Next, Tayu’s highly anticipated Nova Series is now on presale. As previously mentioned, this is their new TPE line (technically, a hybrid line – only the bodies are TPE) with soft silicone heads (ROS and moveable jaw). Also, another reminder that these are all in-stock and not customizable, with an attractive presale price of $1683. Currently, it launched with one body: 148D. Since Tayu explains everything so well here, there’s no need for me to rewrite and rephrase everything. I recommend just looking at the website or their TDF post.

With the new body comes a new head called Yuki. Although nothing too flashy, I personally don’t mind her natural and somewhat plain look. There aren’t much photos though.

Next, I’ll photo dump the rest of the photos (featuring existing heads). Mainly, it was one big photoshoot where the photographer just swapped the heads around. Again, it features soft silicone heads which are default for the Nova Series, and they boast of having the best LHP.

Shedoll

Shedoll announced their latest version 3.0 heads. Previously, 2.0 was an upgrade to ROS and moveable jaw. Now, 3.0 includes the openable and closable eyes function (compatible with ROS + moveable jaw). They said there are 2 moveable joints (above and below the eye) for the most flexibility.

Bezlya

With the Ai Uehara replica doll launching soon, Bezlya held 2 livestreams with the JAV star, Ai Uehara, to promote the upcoming doll. Unfortunately, there are no English subtitles (since it’s a livestream) and they didn’t really focus on the doll at all. I think it was more of an interview, but I’ll show them anyway. (they’re a bit low quality)

Cosdoll was supposed to have a livestream with her as well, but it was cancelled due to internet issues. Instead, they’ll record and release a video in the future instead.

Cosdoll

Speaking of Cosdoll, they unveiled their replica doll of Ai Uehara, and it’s actually not the same one as Bezlya’s. Oddly, Ai Uehara collaborated with both brands at once, so ironically, they’ll compete with each other to sell their replica of the same person. They only showed the head so far, but the full doll will be at the Asia Adult Expo happening today. Do you think Bezlya or Cosdoll did it better?

FU Doll

Next, FU Doll released a new elf head called Alita. Not the Alita I was thinking of, but this head is fairly cute. Unfortunately, I only have censored photos at the moment.

Yue Doll

Yue Doll released a new head called Mia, which is AIO with their 165cm body. She has an interesting face that they call Eurasian, and she’ll debut at the Asia Adult Expo. Again, the photos are censored, so refer to the video instead.

Aibei

Continuing their recent Silicone Luxe series, AIbei released a new 157F body with 2 new heads: Clara and Julia. As expected, both look very similar to Funwest’s style. Clara came with 4 photosets, but I’ll just show 2 of the more-interesting ones. She looks pretty different in each set due to the makeup and different photographers, and weighs 32 kg (70 lbs).

Next is Julia. Also super familiar-looking with a pretty Asian face.

Climax Doll

Climax Doll released 1/3 scale goblin doll called Zarga. At first, I thought Climax was going the Dolls Castle route; then I remembered that they were the ones that released that horse head doll. Oh yeah.. Goblin fans might like this, but size-wise, it’s more like a figure than a full-sized goblin.

MD Doll

Still super active, MD Doll released a new head called Rebecca (technically, they spelled it Rebeca but maybe that’s a typo) on their recent 166D body. I think she looks pretty good for what they were going for.

And following last week’s “blowjob sexbot” theme, they released their own “Automatic Oral Sex” feature as well. Judging from the remote, it’s likely from the same supplier as SE Doll’s.

BQ Doll

BQ Doll (Ban Qu) teased an upcoming silicone 160cm F-cup body. While not particularly unique, it looks nicely shaped and well-proportioned.

Galatea Doll

Last but not least, we’ll conclude with new photos of Galatea’s 163cm body + Head JS163. Although they showed this combo many times, she looks especially cute here.

Conclusion

That wraps up another week of Awesome August. Although many brands were busy with the currently on-going expo, big news still broke through the silence. Game Lady and Tayu’s return were honestly more than enough, but Real Lady and Fanreal joined in as well. Particularly, Tayu’s Nova Series created huge buzz over at the Dollforum, which is interesting. As most brands transitioned to silicone, Tayu’s experiment into TPE seemingly revived TPE once more. Maybe because Tayu is a high-end brand releasing their first affordable lineup – possibly creating the highest-end TPE hybrid dolls at under $2000. Meanwhile, Fanreal, Shedoll, and MD Doll kept 2025’s innovations and upgrades train rolling with some new features. Anyway, now that the week’s over, I have my hands full with the Asia Adult Expo.
