New Sex Doll Heads, Carbon Fiber Skeleton, Ai Uehara, & More

The awesomeness of August finally comes to an end – replaced by a Slow September. Probably expected though considering many brands were busy at the 2025 Asia Adult Expo, which unfortunately, I have to disappoint you. Maybe because it took place between Tuesday and Thursday, it had an unexpectedly low turnout. Besides some scattered photos, I couldn’t really find any coverage of the doll brands there at all, so sadly, no expo post this time around. More on that later, but for now, some news still broke the silence. Starpery released a new 175A body, and Nianta Doll launched the first-ever, carbon fiber skeleton. Otherwise, it was mostly some new heads and photosets with a cute theme this week. Without further ado, let’s quickly breeze through a short start to September.

SE Doll

This isn’t news but SE Doll shared a video showing their “sexbot” mechanisms at skeleton-level. Someone asked about this before, so it’s worth a share.

Elsa Babe

Elsa Babe released a new anime head called Mizuta Nina. Perhaps a bit generic but I like the “queen” theme and she looks a bit more mature than their usual heads.

Real Lady

Real Lady shared new photos of their ever-changing 150cm Lena (R8). From good girl to bad girl to Greek or Roman goddess, it’s interesting to see how versatile she is.

Fanreal

Fanreal showcased more heads on their recent 155F Real Skin Texture body, including Molly and Kelly (ROS). Every head seems to fit well on the body.

Starpery

Starpery released a new 175A body with Real Skin Texture. Paired with their Beth head, the body has a pretty nice shape and proportions. Tall and fit (but not skinny) for those who want a tall body with smaller breasts. Her skin is a bit too pale (with bright lighting) to see the Real Skin Texture though.

They also released a new head called Asuka Eva – I’m guessing in reference to Asuka from Evangelion. On the silicone 163C body, she looks pretty cute in anime cosplay.

XT Doll

XT Doll released a new head called Mei-Li with openable and closable eyes. Personally, I find these photos interesting, like a mix of modern and old-fashioned, & sophisticated and cute.

Top Fire Doll

In contrast, Top Fire Doll released a new head called Lucy. A perfect blonde for a scenic picnic, I quite like this sculpt as well.

Next, they released a new 106 torso body and Megan head. She looks a bit quirky with the tongue, which is removable.

MD Doll

Keeping the train going, MD Doll released a new head called Bella. With a smiling ROS mouth with moveable jaw, she nails the sexy teacher look.

MMX Doll

And one more new head this week, MMX Doll teased a new head called Mengai. Their 2nd doll cosplayed as Ada Wong, this one is much more realistic than the first.

Lusandy

Next, Lusandy returned with new photos of their 161D Mei and Naomi. In Natural skin tone, both have interesting themes before baring it all in clean, bright photos.

Doll Senior

Doll Senior shared more photos of their 165cm Songying (with Real Skin Texture). They seem to really like this head, with probably over 10 photosets in 2 months, further emphasizing her K-pop style.

Shedoll

Shedoll shared new photos of their silicone 168cm Tanya (Jiang Xiaotang). They made her look unbelievably cute here.

Funwest Doll

Funwest Doll returned with 3 new photosets of their silicone Nika on the 152D and 159A (Real Skin Texture) bodies. The photos were teased for a while, but it seems they wanted to collect all 3 photosets before releasing them.

Nianta Doll

Out of the blue, Nianta Doll launched the first-ever “carbon fiber skeleton,” which supposedly reduces the weight by around 5 kg (11 lbs). Doll enthusiasts have pondered the possibilities of carbon fiber skeletons for probably the last 7+ years, and Nianta’s the first to make it happen. On TDF, the release was met with both excitement and skepticism. At least 2 knowledgeable members observed flaws in the design, claiming that it would not retain tension long-term with a high chance of the limbs breaking, and would be impossible to repair. I guess we’ll wait and see as it’s officially out; who will be the guinea pig?

Tinglise

A new brand called Tinglise launched this week. They’re a hybrid (silicone head + TPE body) focused brand with some decent-looking heads. More info here.

Ai Uehara

Last but not least, Ai Uehara gets an entire section as she ventured into the world of dolls this week. After arriving in Hong Kong (perhaps for the Asia Adult Expo), she met with Bezlya, Cosdoll, and KD-Doll to promote her various replica dolls. Below is a summary video that Ai Uehara posted herself, as well as Cosdoll’s replica at the 2025 Asia Adult Expo. Surprisingly, this was the only video Cosdoll shared of the entire expo, which doesn’t show much.

Next, KD-Doll filmed several videos showcasing the Ai Uehara replica doll. Previously, I mentioned that Cosdoll collaborated with “Zucki” and Ai Uehara (but I never figured out what/who Zucki was). Turns out (at least based on the video), Zucki is a new company focused on JAV star replicas. Like a middleman, Zucki teamed up with Ai Uehara and contracted several brands (Cosdoll, Bezlya, and Minova Doll) to create replicas of her. KD said to expect more replica dolls of retired and famous JAV stars from them in the future. That could be interesting.

Some photos of Ai Uehara sitting with her replica by Cosdoll. Seeing them side-by-side, the doll seems skinnier than her (noticeably the arms), so this may not the most accurate replica.

Unknown to me, Ai Uehara also had a replica doll made by Minova Doll (the figure-doll brand). It seems she went all-out on getting replicas made by 3 different brands. I’m guessing KD-Doll did the photography/photoset which is why they’re involved.

Conclusion

That wraps up a rather short but still eventful week of doll news. The biggest news was probably Nianta Doll’s carbon fiber skeleton, a first with the potential to become the next big trend. This was highly unexpected because I don’t consider Nianta Doll to be a high-end brand. In fact, they’re more of a lower-to-medium-end brand, which is why this was unexpected and maybe not in a good way (as some ppl pointed out the design’s flaws). However, it could be a step in the right direction that sparks more innovations and improvements in the future.

Otherwise, this week had a mix of new heads, photos, and Ai Uehara. As mentioned in the intro, I unfortunately came up empty for the Asia Adult Expo; there was definitely something off about it this year. None of the usual doll photographers attended, and only 1 brand (Yue Doll) shared photos of their booth (besides Cosdoll’s 1 short video). Though from what I heard, it was mostly old/existing dolls there and nothing particularly new or exciting. Looks like I overestimated this expo, but the next one in Guangzhou will definitely be the biggest one of the year (Nov 1-3) – and it won’t take place on weekdays. Until next time!

Oooooh MMX Ada looking gooooooood 😀

  2. The Brazilian

Those are this week’s highlights, according to yours truly:

    – I still prefer the “bad girl” version of Real Lady’s Lena – but this Mediterranean Goddess version of her is unbelievably alluring as well.
    – Speaking of goddesses, Starpery’s Beth looks like one, and has the body of a Goddess! But I would like to see that new body with a more tanned skin, TBH.
    – Also from Starpery, Asuka looks really cute!
    – XT Doll’s Mei-Li has a mysterious aura and an adorable expression – plus, she reminds me of the girls from 4Woods.
    – MMX Doll’s Mengai is my personal favorite from this week’s girls – her Ada Wong cosplay only helps her cause, she is truly breathtaking, and I would love to spend a few hours posing with her!
    – Lusandy’s girls, Naomi and Mei, are also really pretty – and Naomi hits a higher place for me, due to her office siren attire.
    – Doll Senior’s Songying has that K-Pop idol vibe that makes her allure the perfect blend between sweet and sassy. Lovely!
    – FunWest’s Nika is so cute that hurts! She is specially adorable with the pink hair – if she was a real girl, I would definitively walk hand-by-hand with her on a park on a sunny afternoon!
    – Regarding Ai Uehara, now that we saw both of her replica dolls, I think Bezlya did a better job – she truly looks like the real deal, unlike Cosdoll’s, who is still really pretty herself, but doesn’t look like Ai as much as Bezlya’s.
    – Saving the best for last? If Zucki says that we could expect more JAV stars having their replicas, I would love to see Kana Momonogi and Rei Mizuna.

Nice observations. I also like Bezlya’s version better. It seems “softer” and more natural compared to Cosdoll’s. However, Cosdoll’s version still looks better than I expected (based on their head teaser before).

As for Zucki, KD implies that the doll has to do well for Zucki to “stay in business” and to get more JAV stars on board, so I’m curious how it’ll do.. I can imagine Bezlya’s version doing well, but it’s also on the pricer side.

Also considering Ai Uehara is the “#1” JAV idol, if her replicas don’t do well, then that’s not a good sign..

A lightweight skeleton is the right direction, but it would be more practical if the manufacturers came up with a way for the user to tighten loose limbs without damaging the doll’s skin, at least that. And if it were also possible to change a broken skeleton and solder the doll so that the seams were not visible, that would be even cooler.

I think Exdoll and Shedoll’s adjustable joint skeletons are the closest solution, but they have the little holes. Meanwhile, your 2nd idea is sounds much harder to achieve.. but it would be cool.
