Two weeks into January, things are quickly getting back on track in the doll world. WM Doll returned with a cult classic, Top-Cydoll and MMX released beautiful new heads, FUDOLL has a new body, and more. And, of course, pretty photosets left and right. Let’s keep it short and sweet and let the photos do the talking this time – as we jump straight into another week of doll news.
WM Doll
A blast from the past, WM Doll revived their thicc viral sensation, “Jasmine,” this time in silicone – and surprisingly – as part of their “Ultra-Light” series. While she may not hit as she did in 2019, the once-popular “163H + Head #198” goes from 48.5 kg (107 lbs) in TPE to 33 kg (73 lbs) in silicone. Not too shabby, though this 163H isn’t exactly the same as the TPE version (it’s very slightly slimmer – which I guess was necessary to reduce the weight). Will this put WM Doll back on the map or are they 7 years too late?

SEDOLL
Meanwhile, SEDOLL launched their Ultra-Flex Fingers option for TPE and S-TPE dolls (which was only available for silicone before). Nice to see that their TPE series hasn’t been neglected.
Elsa Babe
Elsa Babe released 2 new heads: Suwabe Haruka and Momoi Mitsuyo. Two very safe and cutesy designs. However, Momoi Mitsuyo isn’t technically new; for whatever reason, they re-released her again.

Real Lady
Real Lady shared new photos of their 159cm Alodia (R9). Now in a lighter skin tone, the Hawaiian-inspired doll from a few months back looks noticably different here. Like a combination of cute, tired, and doe-eyed (almost animeish), she’s certainly different from the usual Real Ladies, but still has a certain charm about her.

Top-Cydoll
Still on fire, Top-Cydoll returned with 2 new heads: Stella and Mai. Starting with Stella, they nailed another stunning Western beauty, rocking a nostalgic, early-2000’s grunge/skater girl vibe.

Videos
In contrast, they also released a new head called Mai. Maintaining Y2K vibes (but in Japan this time), they gave her a strong kogal/gyaru theme – maximizing her “dolliness.” I also like this head, and both releases (like Jasmine) are nostalgic, blasts from the past.

Videos
And last, they shared new photos of their recent Sato Asuka. This time, she’s in a traditional kimono, but compared to their other heads, I think she looks a bit sad here.

MMX Doll
The other headliner, MMX Doll also released 2 new Western heads: Luna and Kelly. Starting with the previously-teased Luna, she’s simply gorgeous with plump lips and a maturer style. Yet another stunning beauty that fits great on their 170A (E-cup) body.

Next is Kelly, who was teased in their Christmas photos (that never came out). Of the two, I think I prefer Kelly who looks more natural and less over-the-top. Possibly celebrity-inspired, she’s a natural beauty with a well-sculpted and realistic face.

Fanreal
Fanreal shared more photos of their Uniseries AIO 170G Maria (ROS). They’ve shown Maria so many times by now, but her beauty simply can’t be contained.

They also shared more photos of their 166J Nora, highlighting her juicy cleavage once more. Despite the initial criticism, they certainly know what they’re doing with this body, and won many people over.

FUDOLL
Next, FUDOLL teased a new 165SW body (with Real Skin Texture) and head called Zhang Yinxi (that reminds me of Stellar Blade’s Eve – maybe even better than Game Lady’s?). Starting the year strong, they’re hyping her up, and while the large hanging breasts may not be for everyone, I really like the overall shape and proportions of her, though the neck looks a bit long (next to the drooping breasts).

The photographer, Artemis77, also got a chance to showcase this doll (not sure if it’s the same head or not). Regardless, his brilliant photos show off even more details and angles, including LHP. While the body looks amazing on the surface, the love holes leave something to be desired.
Firefly Diary
Speaking of curves and busts, Firefly Diary’s milk maid (160Max body Liuli) is ready to serve. In an enticing cow bikini, her lovely breasts and cleavage are the main course. So appetizing, Gordon Ramsay would say “Finally, some good food.”

Funwest Doll
Funwest Doll shared new photos of their silicone Amy, paired with the 157G body for the first time. An experiment where cute meets thick, I think it was successful in the end.

MD Doll
MD Doll released a new head called Brianna. Continuing their new trend of light-skinned, black dolls, she looks pretty stylish in these simple but effective photos.

Jarliet
Meanwhile, Jarliet shared new photos of their 163cm Eve. In my opinion, this is still one of their best-looking heads (from 2024) that led to much better designs from them. She still holds up today.

Shedoll
A few weeks ago, I skipped over these photos of Shedoll’s 167D Kala (mainly since there weren’t many photos and no nude photos), but stumbling upon them again, I wanted to show them. She’s much different from what you’d expect from Shedoll.

Lacedoll
Speaking of skipping photos, after skipping many Lacedoll photosets, they have two new ones worth seeing. These feature their 163H Muxue in a CNY shoot, and Qingji (Green thorn), which I believe was the last new head I showed from them. Pretty nice posing here.

Strawberry Garden
Strawberry Garden released a new head called Wanying on their silicone 159cm body. They describe her much better than I can – something like a cherry blossom in royalty. In a cutesy or anime-ish way, I think she looks pretty cute.

CY Doll
CY Doll released a new head in Asia, showcased in an elegant dress. While similar to their other designs, they always look good, nonetheless.

SGD/FG Studio
SGD Studio (or FG Studio) began presales on their latest FG007 (1/3 scale figure), inspired by Mai Shiranui. Facially, she has their typical semi-realistic and cutesy aesthetic, though I find her face a bit plain this time. I like the body proportions though, which capture the video game character’s “thicc and bounciness.”
However, there’s an important distinction this time as they stated, “FG-007.. contains no adult-oriented explicit content.” People assume this means no nipples or genitals – but they’ve been incredibly vague and unclear. It’s possible they’re just protecting themselves on paper, but one X user said SGD told him there won’t be any nipples (but is possibly subject to change). Their listing also states “not for people under 18,” which was one of the new guidelines for Chinese e-commerce websites, so the industry-wide uncertainty continues to linger. I guess we won’t know for sure without seeing nude photos (which they may not show), so this has many potential customers riled up.

Sineem Doll
Last but not least, a reminder that a new brand called Sineem Doll recently launched. Their motto revolves around embracing imperfections, though as many people noticed, their perfect-looking dolls don’t quite match that description. Read more here.

Conclusion
That wraps up the second week of the new year. After a calm and quiet start to 2026, the storm of news finally came. WM revived their 163H “Jasmine” in hopes for relevancy once more (but is it too little too late?), while MMX and Top-Cydoll continued to impress with their beautiful and realistic heads. While some brands fizzled out, these two have remained at full speed. Meanwhile, FUDOLL’s Eve lookalike could potentially be a game-changer for them. Looks like every brand is making a statement in 2026, while maintaining their roots and overall style.
And then there’s SGD Studio, whose latest presale began in backlash and controversy – as people assume they removed the “adult parts” (which is still vague and unclear). A little drama to start off the year. Otherwise, this eventful week had a little of everything.
Also, it’s a good time to remind readers that with CNY coming up, be sure to check the cutoff times for various brands. Some brands like Aotume have already cut off new orders, while some others are in the last week of January. Then, it seems like most brands will take 1 week off for CNY (and return at the end of February). So, stay informed if you plan to order soon. Until next time!
Thoughts on brands’ increasing momentum in 2026? Comment below!

FUDOLL already had a 165F, I can’t tell if it’s actually new. 🤔 The listing is up on RakuenDoll and the body on the datasheet could be the same or maybe not, certainly doesn’t look like the breasts drop as much with the older body or on the datasheet image, so it could be just these photos playing tricks… But gotta say, especially that 3rd photo, it looks amazing.
Only thing I’m not 100% on the FanReal 166J is the rather small nipple, they should have made it bigger to fit with a bigger areola as well, but it’s still a great body.
I saw Rakuendoll’s listing yesterday and thought I made a mistake, but I think this body is different. FUDOLL said it’s new, and it has Real Skin Texture. I can’t tell if their original 165F has Real Skin Texture or not. Hmm, not sure but FUDOLL calls the new body “165SW.”
Good lord… I am just drooling right now…
Which one of these dolls are you getting next? 😂
Regarding the SGD issues, I did wonder how scale sized only manufactures would be impacted by any regulations or try to navigate it.
Checking out all the concerns on X. I think this proves in the first place, the popularity with buyers requesting functionality way back with 001. People want all the features in compact size lol
Unfortunately, it’s still unclear and I don’t have any more info since that article I wrote. From what I can tell, the “regulations” mainly affect Chinese e-commerce websites right now. There’s no national law; it’s mainly the e-commerce sites that implemented the new regulations. And since most brands sell on those sites (like taobao, Tmall, JD, etc), they’re losing a big market if they ignore those rules. 299 presale units come from China, so that’s a good portion of their sales. That, plus the uncertainty of future regulations (so everyone’s just playing it safe).
Anyway, I think the anger is mostly because of the sudden change without warning. If they never had “adult parts” to begin with, people probably wouldn’t care. The fact that they always had it and now it’s suddenly gone is the main issue.
I think Jasmine will be a success again but not a huge success. Okay “modernization” of her i would say.
I like her bodytype but its not good enough for a purchase but thats just me.
Clear winner of the week for me: Kelly from MMX. I mean god damn she looks like a real person.
Fanreal and the Maria spam: …
Yeah, I’m curious how well the silicone version will do. Many TDF members are disappointed since they didn’t really improve her much. Seems to still have poor LHP and very firm from a foam core. Sad to see WM/Jinsan’s slow decline and inability to adapt or innovate anymore..
My favorite this week was Stella from Top-Cydoll, and Kelly from MMX. Nice to see MMX release more Western heads since they’re one of the best in terms of realism at the moment.
Fanreal is all-in on Maria and will promote her until the very end. 😅
What a nice week, so many beautiful dolls! I’m sure there’ll be enough people who’d buy the old-new WM doll legend just for nostalgia purposes only! TOP-CYDOLL has probably the best looking heads, but here there’s just too much to choose from, and well, the head should fit the body, and there’s a lot of competition when it comes to this regard.
Looking at these dolls, I want to believe that future looks bright, even though it doesn’t.
I agree. Owners of the original TPE version or people who wanted it but couldn’t because of the weight, might be interested in the new silicone one. Top-Cydoll keeps nailing new heads; hopefully, they have another body coming soon. Their last 172A was certainly a winner. Personally, I think the future looks bright for dolls. Slow but steady. 😁
