The 3rd annual 2025 Chengdu Adult Expo took place last weekend between July 11-13. Originally, I wasn’t going to cover this since it’s much smaller than other adult expos. However, I found some photos and might as well share them. Since I’m super busy with news this week, this will be short and sweet unlike my other expo posts. Just a quick look at some of the dolls on display there.

Unlike massive expos like the one in Guangzhou, most of the sex dolls were curated by Wasedoll (a Chinese doll forum) and displayed in one spot. Imagine one giant booth showcasing many brands, except most of them were behind glass doors – with some special ones out in the wild. Also, some brands had their own booth like Bezlya and MMX Doll. Without further ado, let’s get to the image dump. Maybe when I have time, I’ll organize it better.
MMX Doll also had 3 “moaning heads” on display. Basically, heads with touch sensors that play a moaning sound (which sounds more like crying), but probably funny seeing everyone patting the heads.
Conclusion
The newer 2025 Chengdu Adult Expo didn’t quite compare to that of Guangzhou and Shanghai. Therefore, there wasn’t much buzz in the doll community or that many dolls there. Still, there were some new releases to see like the sleeping Liuli, Doll Senior’s Songying, and Yue Doll’s Xiaoyue. Meanwhile, the next expo is the Asia Adult Expo in Hong Kong sometime next month in August, which is bigger than this one. Not much else to say here.. Until the next expo!

BanQu’s brunette (photo 19) was the one that attracted me the most. But I must also comment on how scary the realism of MMXDoll’s first girl (second to last photo) is – I still can’t believe that she is not real!
Interesting. These expos cater to the Asian market so they tend to have cuter-looking dolls there.
Meanwhile, MMX is definitely one of the most realistic-looking brands at the moment. Kind of wild that a lower-medium priced silicone brand accomplished this. Their sculpts and makeup are really good, almost like wax figures.
