Now that the World Cup’s over, everyone’s eyes are back on dolls. July has been fairly quiet, but never fear, your weekly doll news is here! This week, Lusandy released a brand-new body, Firefly Doll has a new head, and I finally introduce Hime King – the real start to BBW Summer. Better late than never. So without further ado, let’s kick off another week of exciting doll news.

SEDOLL

Starting with SE Doll, their SET Series, Scarlett Reed, returned with openable and closeable eyes this time. Officially their 2nd head to get this upgrade, this seductive head just got winkingly cuter.

Fabrice also shared photos of Aya Series’ most popular, T161C Miori. A pretty and natural display of her, with outfits ranging from costumed to elegant to skintight leather pants.

Elsa Babe

Back to classic anime designs, Elsa Babe has a new head called Izumi Rika. Not particularly unique, but another cute option in their ever-expanding anime lineup.

Irontech Doll

In a change of pace, Irontech’s 148cm Xiaying returned as a “kawaii-inspired cosplayer” (according to Irontech). She’s marketed as new, but this rare combo actually came out in Feb 2024 – which was later removed. Well, it seems the shorter G-series is back, offering lighter options again.

MMX Doll

MMX Doll shared new photos of their 155A (G-cup) Jiami – this time with a traditional Chinese theme. She’s only had one other set, but this is probably the best one so far.

Kumadoll also had a nice set of her, which is probably exclusive for them.

For the first time, they also paired Luna on the 155A body. The match is a bit unorthodox (since she’s usually on much taller bodies), but it’s interesting to see this combination at least.

Lusandy

Starring their Spanish beauty, Maya, Lusandy released a brand-new 162cm silicone body (with Real Skin Texture). Known for their supermodel proportions, this one doesn’t disappoint combining a petite, toned figure with wide hips. According to them, this is their “thiccest and best shaped [butt] to date.” The simple dress-up makes her the ultimate girl-next-door, and with Super Weight Reduction, she weighs 30 kg (66 lbs).

Doll Senior/Not Ye

Doll Senior teased a new S40 torso (hip toy), presented by the 170G Linsha. I’m guessing it’s a partial version of the 170G body, but I haven’t seen the specs yet. A very sweet, candy-like theme, but Linsha said, “forget the torso,” and stole the spotlight.

Firefly Doll

Firefly Doll’s forgotten head, Lily, returned with Mary’s red carpet treatment. While she didn’t get a fancy dress, she strutted her stuff in a black lingerie and a clear look at her body. I’m guessing they took these photos a long time ago and only released them now.

Unexpectedly, they also released a new head called Haruko. They’ve been on a roll with new heads every week, and this time, it’s a Japanese beauty. Back with their original school theme, she looks quite pretty and slightly anime-ish.

They also reduced the weight of their S-TPE 159cm body, going from 42 kg to 29 kg. A huge difference, but like most TPE weight reduction, it’ll feel noticeably firmer due to the foam core.

They said, “Foam core can be felt at about 0.7–1cm on the abdomen and 1.5–2cm on the thighs. Movement is slightly limited around the upper thighs.”

Funwest Doll

Funwest Doll released a new silicone 159cm F-cup body, which they teased about a month ago. Starting with the classic Sophiemina, she showed off the body as a fancy superhero or villain. This version has Real Skin Texture, and the body weighs 35.3 kg (78 lbs).

Next, no Real Skin Texture is an option, where Chloe is a different kind of superhero – purple ninja with katanas? An interesting cosplay with high color contrast.

Ido Doll

Meanwhile, Ido Doll’s celebrity-inspired Wanzhi returned in a brand-new look (on the athletic 169C body). The lacy wedding lingerie is the appetizer before getting to the main course – the unique and divisive body sculpt.

XT Doll

XT Doll released a new head called Vivian, the 2nd for their recent body pillow. To me, she looks almost identical to the first head, but with slightly more defined features.

FUDOLL

FU Doll shared new photos of their 157cm (Real Skin Texture) Xiaobei. Rocking the black virgin killer sweater, the round symmetry of the breasts and butt definitely steal the show.

HimeKing

About a month ago, a new brand called Hime King bounced into the world – the true start to BBW Summer. However, I never showed them because I struggled to find the photos. Well, with more vendors adding them, it’s time to unleash the big ol’ titties. Starting with their 172cm U-cup Flower, you’ll need to work for it at ~68 kg (150 lbs without WR) and ~49 kg (108 lbs with WR). They said ± 2 kg, and knowing brands, it’s probably +.

Next, they just released a new head called Snow. She’s blonde but not exactly Western-looking – more like a mix. But, she definitely gives a different style for the busty body.

And last, they have an AIO torso, 50cm K-cup (I’m guessing 50cm is without the head) with the Snow head. Not only is she AIO, she has a deepthroat function with downward oral – and there’s really only one other brand known for this design, which is Yue Doll. I would guess they’re the factory behind this brand.

SY Doll

The next Moonvale furry may not be here, but SY Doll released a new Avatar-inspired head called Lirael. Move over Airbenders, it’s time for the Na’vis to reclaim their name. Well, if Na’vis bred with humans and became half-human at least. I think she looks pretty unique, and I like SY Doll’s venture into more fantasy territory lately.

Climax Doll

Meanwhile, Climax Doll released a new Si70 doll: Roxy, with an interesting tribal/temple theme. While I would have preferred more game characters, she’s not bad for an original design.

Dolls Castle

While Climax Doll works on their custom Renamon doll (commissioned by a customer), Dolls Castle beat them to the punch with their own version of the Digimon furry. From what I recall, Climax Doll’s will be more detailed and accurate, but for those who want their hands on Renamon now, Dolls Castle did a decent job here.

MD Doll

MD Doll released new 153cm B-cup body, with a new head called Stella. First, the head looks so similar to a previous one, I wouldn’t have guessed it was new. As for the body, they went with a more youthful style with small and perky breasts this time at 31 kg (68 lbs).

Strawberry Garden

Strawberry Garden released a new 163cm body, their tallest thus far with a slightly more mature head. Looks somewhat interesting with a sleepy face and petite build.

New AI Regulations in China

Effective last week (July 15), China passed a new regulation on AI. This includes some standard stuff like user safety, preventing harmful content, and national security, but what caught the most attention was companionship. With headlines like “China cracks down on AI companions,” this is likely another example of governments trying to “protect” the youth and raise birth rates. In a nutshell, AI companies now face stricter guidelines that discourage (or tone down) AI romance. They basically want AI to be a tool for information and support, and not for love or romantic relationships – which puts a dent into what many doll brands hoped to achieve with AI. Faye’s Dollhouse wrote a very in-depth opinion piece here for those who are interested.

Conclusion

That wraps up a slightly more eventful week of doll news. New bodies like Lusandy’s 152cm and Funwest’s 159F will likely be a hit. Meanwhile, Dolls Castle had a new furry as SY/Moonvale, Dolls Castle, and Climax Doll battle it out in the ultimate fantasy doll battle royale. Quite some variety this week, and also a revisit of how the first robotic doll brands (like RealDoll and EX Doll) shifted away from sex and into more mainstream applications. Honestly, I don’t see the purpose of Realbotix’s robot at a school when a computer or screen would probably work the same or better. Meanwhile, the new AI regulations in China will be interesting, and will definitely affect the rapid AI and robotics advancements there in some way.
