After a relaxing, week-long holiday in China, sex doll news finally returns with an overwhelming flood of news. This week, brands wasted no time serving what they cooked up before their vacations. This includes a noticeable torso trend, endless photosets, and new bodies from Zelex, MMX, Doll Senior, and more. Therefore, let’s get things back on track as October showers us with more doll news.
SE Doll
In time for Halloween, SE Doll showed off their “Hallow Bunnies Twins” (though they’re not actually twins). Dressed as bunny girls, their T165cm Maggie and T163cm Liam brought out the sexy side of Halloween.
Zelex
After some silence, Zelex returned with a new ZG162D body (in their Inspiration Series 2.0): their first body with “Weight-Reduction Technology.” One their complaints for a while is weight, and this new body seeks to address that at 33.5 kg (74 lbs). While it’s not that much lighter, it’s a step in the right direction at least. It also launched with a new head called Nicole (GE68 or GE37MJ) with ROS + moveable jaw.

Meanwhile, Gynoid officially released their 160cm Vivi (Model 23) out of presale, with a whopping 5 more photosets. It was hard to condense these down since they’re all so elegant.
Top-Cydoll
This week’s torso trend kicked off with Top-Cydoll’s first-ever 110E torso (with Real Skin Texture). Proportionally, it looks a bit like their 168F body, but it’s thicker and curvier at 25 kg (55 lbs) without the head. They showcased it with 3 heads: Polly, Tanya, and Maggie.

They also shared artistic photos of their Hollywood star, Beatrice, on the 176E body in a fancy red theme.
Lusandy
Lusandy’s 165cm Sophia returned as a cowgirl this time. Lovely outdoor photos with flattering booty shorts.
Jiusheng
Continuing the trend, Jiusheng released the T4 torso they teased 2 weeks ago. Along with a new head called Elara (ROS + moveable jaw), their so-called “curviest torso thus far” looks pretty proportional at 107cm tall (with head) and weighs 22 kg/48.5 lbs (without head).
Shedoll
Next, Shedoll released a new TPE torso with their Tanya (Jiang Xiaotang) head. Weighing 24 kg (53 lbs) without the head, it’s rather busty and thick. But for some reason, the specs don’t mention the height.
Evas Doll
And last in the torso flurry, Evas Doll returned with a 2-for-1, releasing a new 88 torso and 180cm body (two polar opposites). Both feature the YiZhiQi head, and while the 2 releases look similar, their specs are different. Yet another round-hipped, curvy design that they’re known for.
Next is the 180cm body, one of the tallest in the market (also with Yi Zhi Qi head). She’s tall and proportional, and they definitely didn’t skimp out on the thickness. Technically, this body isn’t out yet, so no weight given for now.
MMX Doll
MMX Doll released the new body and head they revealed at the SZI expo: the 156B Mengting. She looks pretty cute – and better styled here than at the expo – at 33 kg (73 lbs). Also note that MMX labels their bodies (with A and B), which aren’t the cup-sizes; vendors listed her as E-cup.
Irontech Doll
Irontech Doll’s Oriental Series returned with 4 new photosets. But rather than new A-series heads, these are just existing heads and bodies – though they look more distinct with Asian-inspired makeup. They have rather strong photo filters though, and Irontech also added ROS Max to some of their older heads.
Firefly Diary
Firefly Diary teased their first-ever Western head called Mary. On the 165cm Max body, she has a rather intense, model-like expression – much different than their anime-inspired, Asian heads. I like the brunette set the most.
MD Doll
As always, MD Doll released a new head – this time an Asian head called Cindy. There are many office photosets in the doll world, but this one looks particularly fitting. She has a cute, intelligent charm to her.
TAYU
Officially the 4th brand to unveil an “adjustable joint skeleton,” Tayu teased the upcoming option to adjust the joints’ tightness externally. What’s unique about their version is the adjustment holes are almost invisible – so small that the silicone material essentially seals it – which removes the “visible holes” drawback. Still, I’d would worry about water or moisture getting into the skeleton.
Doll Senior
Meanwhile, Doll Senior released a new silicone 165F body (Real Skin Texture) with Linsha head. In their latest dreamy and fantastical shoot with a fox theme, they showed off the toned, slender, and busty build at 32 kg (70.5 lbs).
Top Fire Doll
Top Fire Doll shared 3 new photosets from various doll community members, including Alottahope. They look pretty good and show the dolls in a different, more vintage look. I’ll skim through them quickly.
SY Doll
After focusing on TPE bodies lately, SY Doll finally brought back their silicone ones. Starting with silicone 164D + Head #290, their photos have been quite nice lately with another classy shoot.
Next on the silicone 160D body is Head M35 (ROS + moveable jaw). In a bunny sailor dress, these could double as Halloween photos.
And last, they had another hybrid set with TPE 158cm body + silicone head M34. I think they nailed the Latina look here, which looks great, though of course, the body looks a bit cartoonish (compared to their silicone bodies).
Cosdoll/Yearndoll
Cosdoll teased their first-ever anime doll. Perhaps not the most unique design (many brands have this similar style with the tongue sticking out), but it still looks interesting. Right now, they’re still deciding on a brand name for their anime dolls (they don’t want it under Yearndoll).
Dream Stars
Last but not least, the figure doll brand shared some new photos in an Egyptian style. I’ve seen this cosplay or style many times but I’m not sure where it’s from. I like the details of these 1/3 scale dolls though.
Conclusion
That wraps up the return of sex doll news. Over the last few months, torsos trended heavily (as seen with Fanreal, SEDOLL, and Jigglyjoy lately) and continued exploding this week. Seemingly, every brand wants in on the torso niche – perhaps the lighter-weight, portability, and affordability sells well. Also, FU Doll had a new torso, which I didn’t show it since the head was too big on it – it’s not Halloween just yet.. Also, still trending is Real Skin Texture and “adjustable joint skeletons” with Tayu’s latest teaser. To my knowledge, only XT’s version is out in Asia, but no updates on the other ones (from EXDOLL and Shedoll). Otherwise, there were many new photos this week as brands got back into their groove. The western head from Firefly Diary surprised me. Are they really doing that to appeal to western audiences? They are a brand that seems to be somewhat popular in China. I think if they really want to increase their western appeal they need to streamline their options and improve their website. Focus on accessibility. Their bodies are already good enough (Qiandao shill here).
As you say, it’s a bit surprising to see so many brands focusing on torsos. To me torsos seem pointless without significant weight reduction. In that regard SE seems like they’ve just one-upped everyone else. Some brands like JigglyJoy and Zelex are putting out 60LB+ torsos which just seems absurd to me.

I think that a thick body under 70 lbs is possible one day, but not yet. Brands like Tayu, XT, and Starpery have greatly advanced their weight-reduction but there’s still a way to go. Maybe one day..
As for Firefly Diary, brands always want to expand and reach every niche. But they definitely made a global/Western push lately, turning their website (yhdoll) to English. Back then, their website was only in Chinese. So yeah, I think they’re trying to appeal to the West, and maybe also mixing things up (since sometimes brands run out of ideas).
With the thick torsos, it’s kind of like turning a 100 lb doll into 60 lbs without the arms and legs. I guess it’s a lighter option for people who want a thick doll, but maybe not for the average person. In the end, weight reduction is still something to improve on, and hopefully, they can figure it out.

As someone who follows this every week, I completely understand. I’m always amazed at how active and unpredictable the doll industry is. Sometimes, someone orders a doll and then a new upgrade comes out (while their doll is in production); that’s never a nice feeling. I don’t really know what to say. Most brands don’t give teasers; they just release things out of nowhere. It’s definitely overwhelming, and I can also relate: I feel like the “perfect” doll face and body for me doesn’t exist yet either.
Also agree with Doll Senior. They’ve been killing it with the photography and body designs. Also agree about Evas Doll’s breasts but can’t quite put my finger on why. Maybe it’s the slight droopiness, big areolas, or too big compared to the rest of the body, and not perky enough.
I guess you could saran wrap the leg around the adjustment holes for that Tayu if you’re worried about water going into the doll while giving the body a shower. I almost always just sponge bath with the body hanging however. In any case the holes look sealed well enough so long as the body isn’t submerged
Yeah, I’d be extra careful about any holes leading to the skeleton. I tend to wonder what could go wrong, like whether the adjustment holes will get bigger over time (from adjusting it a lot). Better to be safe than sorry, though this design is one of the better ones I’ve seen, so I’m impressed by it so far.
