August keeps rolling with another exciting week of upgrades and innovations. That has definitely been the theme of the year. SE Doll and Top-Cydoll both showcased their electronic blowjob functions, Shedoll is the latest to offer an adjustable skeleton (where you can tighten and loosen the joints), and MD Doll has a familiar innovation. Without further ado, let’s see the latest the doll industry has to offer.

WM Doll

With the Ani Waifu Doll trending (and now endorsed by Yi Long Ma 😂), Jinsan had an Ani cosplay of their own. Featuring a new Y017 head, she’s like a cuter but less-accurate version of Ani (though it’s just a cosplay).

SE Doll

SE Doll released their “New Blowjob Sexbot” – an upgraded version of their electronic “blowjob” feature, where they moved the mechanism from the waist to the neck. Supposedly, this adds more realism and stability – and compared to the old version, it looks significantly better. Currently, it’s only available on their TPE and S-TPE dolls.

Top-Cydoll

Coincidentally, Top-Cydoll also released the “Auto Blowjob” feature for their 176E body; I guess it’s sexbot season. It looks similar to above – with the mechanism at the neck – though the body seems to shake a bit more.

Elsa Babe

Meanwhile, Elsa Babe released another anime head for their 148 body called Genba Tokiko. With a somewhat mysterious face, I quite like this one.

Real Lady

Real Lady teased something called “VI” with a video that doesn’t show anything in particular, besides sand on a body. They said, “From every curve to every line, it’s all about evolution. Our new Visual Identity is here, refined and unapologetically Reallady. Watch as we unlock a new chapter.” At first, I thought it was something related to Real Skin Texture, but it might just be their new logo. The TDF community wasn’t amused by the vagueness.

Bezlya

Bezlya finally revealed their 4th replica doll (“Narcissus the 4th”) to be the famous JAV idol, Ai Uehara. Someone predicted this in the comments last week, and most likely, Bezlya and Cosdoll are releasing the same doll (like a collaboration) – which will be unveiled at the Asia Adult Expo. Pre-sale bonuses include a signed photobook by Ai Uehara, and “rumors of ‘worn items.'” As for the doll shown in the video, she looks pretty good considering Bezlya’s more fantasy aesthetics.

HR Doll

HR Doll released a new silicone 158cm P-cup body, with a new head called Judie (ROS + moveable jaw). The body’s toned and fit, with Real Skin Texture and massive milkers. I quite like the head as well, and she weighs 41 kg (90 lbs) in total.

The also showcased the 158P body (above) with the mature Asian head, Diana.

Climax Doll

Climax Doll continued promoting their recent TPE 154cm body, this time with Tasha head (shown for the first time in Black skin tone). The cutesy Japanese bondage theme works surprisingly well with her.

Orange In

Orange In returned with a pretty head called Eve (ROS + moveable jaw). I think she’s quite attractive, and the defined jawline actually looks good on her.

They also have a new head called Lena (ROS + moveable jaw) in a cuter style. While not super unique, the blue eyes and face shape give her an interesting, mixed Asian look.

I also saw this head last week but couldn’t tell if it was new or not (no vendors seem to have her except one). On the TPE 165cm body, Debby (ROS + moveable jaw) has a pleasant and dreamy Latina-inspired face.

Yue Doll

Yue Doll released their first-ever mini doll, the 85 Aini. All-in-one (seamless neck) like most of their designs, they highlighted the light weight and portability (6.5 kg / 14 lbs), easy storage, and ease of posing for photography. Worth trying something new, though I find that many of these figure dolls have slightly weird thighs.

Sanhui

Sanhui continued pushing their recent 158cm body with Real Skin Texture, bringing back Nina once more. A nice combination that I prefer over their Caiyue head (the other head they showcase with this body).

Jiusheng

Jiusheng shared new photos of their recent 160E Natasha, this time with more natural photos for a better look at the smiling, mature head.

Firefly Diary

Firefly Diary shared two cute photosets of their silicone 160cm MAX Liuli and hybrid 159cm Qiandao. I like the immersive themes they went with: in the gym and kitchen.

Lacedoll

Meanwhile, Lacedoll released a new 167D body (shown with Muxue head). Unfortunately, some of the photos are censored but the body looks very toned and fit. They seem particularly proud of the butt.

MD Doll

Still focused on the West, MD Doll released a new 166(A)cm body and new head called Ann. At 39.5 kg (87 lbs), the body’s somewhat interesting with a long torso and meaty yet toned proportions.

They also released their latest feature: Force Feedback Legs. Although, I’m pretty sure this is just XT Doll’s “Interactive Feedback Legs,” which pretty much confirms they’re made in the same factory (was obvious before since their websites and listings look the same). I wonder if this is just XT’s 2.0 version (from 1.5 years ago) or if it was improved in any way.

SHEDOLL

Last but not least, 2025 is definitely the year of upgrades, innovations, and “adjustable joint skeletons.” Shedoll is the latest brand to release their “Adjustable Skeleton Feature.” Like EXDOLL’s “Lingshu Joint Version 1.0,” you can adjust the tightness of the joints externally (which is super innovative). But unlike other brands, they also warned of the risks such as “water entering the adjustment hole when cleaning,” “TPE softness causing the adjustment port to crack or expand – leading to large wounds,” and “unpredictability (from misuse) that can reduce the joint lifespan.” Otherwise, it looks similar to EXDOLL’s version but with shoulder hole in the back rather than the side.

Conclusion

That wraps up another week filled with upgrades and innovations. This year has been full of them, though most features are still in an early or experimental phase. The blowjob functions definitely look improved though people have mixed feelings about them. The biggest con seems to be the noise they make, which every brand hides in their videos. Meanwhile, Shedoll kept the “adjustable skeletons” trend going, but who will be the first guinea pigs to test them? Maybe it’s better to wait.

Additionally, “Ani” dolls are definitely trending (I think there’s another Ani doll cosplay somewhere), but Google seems to have already shadowbanned “Ani Waifu Doll” (or maybe it’s just from my side).. Meanwhile, electronic upgrades, ROS months, and Real Skin Texture are still trending – and now – adjustable skeletons as well. The future’s looking bright, and the next big expo (Asia Adult Expo – where the replica AI Uehara will be unveiled) starts next Tuesday. I have my work cut out for me. Until next time!
