April finally crawls past the finish line in a somewhat forgettable manner. Despite all that happened, I can’t really recall what happened (maybe that’s what 6 years of nonstop news will do to you). This week, it was mostly more of the same, but with some notable releases. Top-Cydoll returned with a new head, Funwest and SY revived the torso trend, and some interesting vendor exclusives and Zelex off-shoots. Also, Japanese residents got a first look at high-end, Chinese dolls. Without further ado, let’s wrap up April before I mysteriously disappear.

Elsa Babe

Elsa Babe scaled up their Utashiro Shiori head and called her: Utashiro Kazuki (on the 163cm body). Pretty cute and classic head choice.

Irontech Doll

Irontech shared more photos of their upcoming Oriental Series 151cm body. So far so good, I think this may be the best body in the Oriental Series thus far.

They also shared these new photos of the 164cm Celine, a classic combo. However, I’m surprised they haven’t done more with the AIO Celine, which seems to be forgotten in the past.

Real Lady

Meanwhile, Real Lady’s Sienna is back with a new look. This time, she has a more Latina style on the bustier 168cm body that fits her incredibly well. I think this look is a winner for her.

Top-Cydoll

Top-Cydoll returned with a new head called Lillian. The blonde girl next door, her intense look gives her a bit of a video-gamey look that’s quite interesting.

Next, they shared new photos of Sofia, except she looks completely different here. What started as a smiling Latina, ended as an emo girl (they reshaped her eyebrows which made a huge difference). Now she looks sad and pouty, which I’ve seen on many Asian heads, but not on many Western heads – so it’s somewhat unique.

Last, one of their first heads, Elva, is back looking better than ever. I think this hairstyle suits her very well, giving her a youthful, fashionable look.

Gynoid

Gynoid shared their third AP Series makeup variation for Elsa (AP03). At least, it’s not another smoky, glamorous style. This one is quite different, though not my favorite since the calmer makeup brings out her lips and front teeth too much in my opinion, but some people might be into it.

Funwest

Next, Funwest Doll released a new FWT (torso) Series, featuring 3 silicone torsos. I think they’re based on existing bodies (except the 95D), but I’m not sure. For those who wanted lighter, more accessible options for Funwest, this is for you. The 95D weighs 15 kg (33 lbs).

The 103G seems based on the 157G body at 23 kg (51 lbs).

And last, the 113D appears to be the torso version of 168D at 24 kg (53 lbs).

SY Doll

Speaking of torsos, SY Doll also released 3 silicone torsos, starting with the 60cm + Head S38. I’m guessing 60cm is the height without the head, and she weighs 18 kg (40 lbs) with the head.

Next, they released a 80cm torso, noticeably longer and more petite. Another interesting option at the same weight of 18 kg (40 lbs).

Last, the 75cm torso has nice, toned abs but a really oversized labia. This one weighs 21 kg (53 lbs).

MD Doll

MD Doll released a new head called Leona. While she looks decent, I think many of their heads look almost the same. Only stands out if you’ve never seen their heads before.

Bezlya

Bezlya shared more photos of their recent Freesia elf head. I think she’ll be popular since the cute anime style works perfectly for cosplay.

Jiusheng

Jiusheng shared more photos of their upcoming silicone 162E body, highlighting the nipples and vagina this time.

Jinwang/Jilldoll x Zelex

After a week of hyping things up, Jinwang or Jilldoll (a brand related to Zelex but only sells in China) released 2 new (Inspiration Series) bodies, and 3 new heads. Worth sharing since their products are usually shared with Zelex and vice versa – so Zelex will likely release them too. The bodies include a 160D and 165B, both of which appear to have Real Skin Texture.

As for the 3 new heads, I think all 3 look really similar. But since Zelex focuses on Western heads nowadays, it’s nice to see some new Asian ones.

SiliconeLovers x Zelex

Speaking of Zelex, SiliconeLovers (the vendor) shared new photos of their exclusive 162G Aphrodite (SL1). Made in collaboration with Zelex, this pretty doll from 2024 returned in a new blonde look.

BetterLoveDoll x Fanreal

And speaking of exclusive dolls, BetterLoveDoll (vendor) shared more photos of their exclusive 175AA Emily. They released this about a year ago with very limited photos (which didn’t get much attention), but the latest photos look much better. Definitely an interesting option since there aren’t many “tall & small-breasted” bodies out there.

Aotan

For fun, I’ll also share these photos Aotan took of the Zucki (x Bezlya) Ai Uehara replica. Thanks to his expert makeup skills (and replicating her makeup), this is probably the most realistic she’s looked. Goes to show that Bezlya nailed the replica, which is only half the battle. The right makeup makes all the difference. His tweet went viral with 7.9M views on X.

Doll Exhibition in Japan

Not your typical news, but Kumadoll hosted a 3-day exhibit (“The World of Real Dolls You Don’t Know”) in Shibuya (Tokyo, Japan) showcasing a lineup of high-end, Chinese dolls. It was free admission for everyone over 18 and got quite a bit of attention. It’s rare to see public displays of dolls in Japan (particularly non-Japanese brands), so this was interesting. It also reminds me how Asian women and young adults are intrigued by them (like at Chinese expos or Taiwan’s doll cafe), a cultural difference compared to the West (where they’re much more stigmatized and controversial).

XT Doll

And last, many people in China received the new “body pillow” from XT, and since I’ve covered it, I should summarize what they said. Most people acknowledged that it was light, cheap, the head looks good (but no oral), and not oily, but that’s where the positives mostly ended. As for the cons, many people mentioned that neck is too long, it feels more plasticky than TPE/silicone, body lacks detail and have strange proportions, and is hard to find clothes that fit. One person worried about the durability of the plastic skin, and said it was hard to have sex with because “something about loose skeleton in a fixed position.” Another said the chest area is firm like memory foam (but also the body as a whole wasn’t supportive enough) and there’s an air sound when you squeeze the body. In the end, most reviewers seemed unsatisfied and suggested waiting for improvements or the next version. It’ll unlikely release in the West in this state..

Conclusion

That wraps up a fairly quiet week of sex doll news. This week, torsos trended again, while most brands had more of the same. Sometimes, Top-Cydoll’s style feels a bit repetitive, but I can’t deny they’ve been carrying the news for a while now. The physical doll showcase in Japan is pretty cool, which shows how some cultures view dolls as technological spectacles, rather than something negative. Otherwise, the news wasn’t too interesting this week.

And since I have your attention, there won’t be any posts next week. After being consistent for so many years, it’s time for medical stuff to catch up to me. I have lots of appointments coming up (and a surgery next week) so I decided to take a break. Therefore, I guess weekly posts are temporarily on hold.
