As we get closer to SGD Studio’s Tifa figure official release date, they finally released photos of the upcoming Tifa Version 2.0 (V2). If you remember from this post, V2 is their upcoming release, despite every vendor using V1’s photos as a placeholder. V1 was 73cm tall, and V2 will officially be 79cm tall (not quite 80cm as previously advertised). She will also weigh 5 kg (9 lbs).
SGD Studio 79cm Tifa Figure (1/2 Scale)
In the newest version, Tifa looks noticeably taller, and surprisingly different from the original. While the proportions look similar, the head seemingly stayed the same size, resulting in a smaller head-to-body ratio. She still looks beautiful and very womanly now, although not quite as cute. Also, they nailed Tifa’s FF7: Remake outfit again, which is included with the doll.
One huge difference is the skin texture. Her skin, including her hands and feet, look extremely detailed and realistic compared to before (a night and day difference). It looks similar to real skin, making Version 1.0 seem like TPE in comparison. Oddly, they labeled this as E-cup, but it looks more like D-cup breasts. The E-cup breasts in the previous photos/videos looked a lot bigger. Could it be a mistake?

Videos (Titled As E-cup Version 2.0)
SGD Studio’s attempt to create the greatest and most realistic Tifa figurine is looking great so far. She looks true to the video game character, with even more detail than before. The only odd thing is the E-cup breasts don’t look as big as previously shown; I wonder if they simply labelled it wrong. Also like before, they don’t really show the butt or demonstrate the softness, so there are still many questions to be answered.
According to Kumadoll, the presale ends on October 10, 2023 (in 2 days) with the expected release in December 2023. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but this might be the last chance to order it (or wait until December). Right now, it’s probably safer going through a vendor like Kumadoll than SGD Studio’s website directly (since they’ve only just recently appeared). I guess we’ll wait and see how the final figure turns out, but it looks impressive so far.
Thoughts on the new photos of SGD Studio’s Tifa Version 2.0? Comment below!
I wish there was a 170cm of this Tifa model with the stand and everything
Me too, Dr Axe. Me too.. Maybe one day. 🙁
Hm, I don’t think this “figure” is for “action” by any means. I assume it’s just a regular desk\shelf figure that can be exposed with juicy parts, or I’m wrong?
Hi Enders,
It has a usable vagina option, which is optional. It’s possible the hole might be too small to even use comfortably, but no one really knows yet. However, they supposedly added a vaginal cavity in Version 1.0, which will also be in Version 2.0.
I hope they’ll make more than just tifa. I guess this doll is made to order and will take weeks to make not like ready made Barbies.
Hi IconOkee,
I think they will, but considering it took almost a year to design this, new characters will probably take a while. But at least they built the foundation already with Tifa.
Generally, dolls are made-on-order but this might be different. Although it’s technically a “doll,” it’s marketed more as a figurine. Previously, they said they plan to mass-produce these so it’s possible they’ll be mass-produced like regular figurines (or Kimber Dolls for example). I guess we can only wait and see.
I wanted to buy her, but seems to be sold out and on the official page they wrote, that it wont be sold after presale. Some trustworthy shop where can she still bought?
Hi Rudy,
Unfortunately, the pre-orders ended on October 10th. Both SGD Studio and most vendors have closed the sale (or removed the listing), so I wouldn’t trust any vendor that’s still selling her. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait until it officially releases in December.
Is it really seamless neck? I’m pausing the video when they show the entire body from the side and it really looks like it isn’t seamless but maybe I’m just wrong
Hi Robert,
You’re right it’s not seamless neck. Sorry about that. One of the photos I looked at hid it very well, but the videos indeed show that the head is removable. That’s a bit of a shame.
