As the US-China trade war heats up, sex doll brands wrapped up their Qingming Festival and quickly returned to work. After an explosive few months, the buzz has noticeably begun to fade. This week, many brands were MIA, but the few that did show up, showed up with something new. This includes an upcoming SE Doll series, FU Doll and Sanhui’s return, a highly-anticipated IDO Doll head, and Sonic furry dolls? Without further ado, let’s breeze through a relatively short week of sex doll news.
SE Doll
Returning to their roots, SE Doll teased their upcoming Silicone Elf Series. Elves and stylish face makeup (from their early days) will soon return in silicone. At first, I thought there were 3 heads, but I think it’s actually just 1 head in 3 styles. Nice to see some fantasy dolls again, after a prolonged focus on realism.

Promo photo teasers

Speaking of fantasy, they dressed up their 161cm Bridget in a rather unique “combat suit.” She kind of looks like Alita mixed with Ahri, and the distinct look definitely stands out.

Erovenus
Erovenus released 2 new heads for their Max Series torsos: Skylar and Hailey. Once again, they greatly resemble Irontech’s Western aesthetic style and look pretty attractive.

Fanreal
Last week, Fanreal shared new photos of their 170D Vivi. Since there was enough news, I skipped them, but it’s time to bring them back out.

They also teased an upcoming photoset of their Black/Latina-inspired Vanessa head in Fair skin tone.

Zelex
Speaking of fair skin, Zelex continued showcasing their dolls in White skin. This time, they showed off the 164G body + Head ZXE211 looking both model-like and rather cute at the same time.

IDO Doll
IDO Doll finally released their long-teased, Hong Kong-inspired head ID8. Personally, I still think she looks a bit wide-eyed (giving her a surprised look), but still realistic and lovely nonetheless in these casual bedroom photos.

FU Doll
FU Doll returned with 2 (?) new heads, starting with Yaoyue. Although her expression is a bit plain, I like her gentle eyes, and she’s relatively cute on the 165cm body.

They also released a head called Liu Wushuang (I’m not sure if it’s new or not). They call this a “new oral soft head” (soft silicone head with oral – not ROS) on the 157cm body with Real Skin Texture. No nude photos yet.

MMX Doll
Delving further into the Western niche, MMX Doll released their 3rd Western head called Judy. She looks pretty interesting, maybe resembling a celebrity.

They also shared new photos of last week’s 168cm Enya. Another interesting look, and they kept the bondage theme going.

Sanhui
After a long absence, Sanhui released a new 158cm E-cup body with Real Skin Texture and Head #41. Typical of their usual style, she looks fairly cute and weighs 36 kg (79 lbs) in total. Unfortunately, the photos are censored which defeats the purpose of showcasing the body, but this is all I have for now.

Climax Doll
From Lola Bunny to Sonic, Climax Doll released their latest furry heads, Aria and Ruby. At only 70cm tall, I’m guessing they’re supposed to look like Rouge and Amy, but the “Shadow” version? The body is also new with huge breasts, a little tail, and can be painted or made partially black. Something unexpected for Sonic fans.

Sankaku / Mandara Doll
Last but not least – a brand that I haven’t talked about in a while – Mandara Doll released two new heads and bodies (one realistic and one anime). Starting with their more realistic one: the 153cm J-cup Champagne. With a Western face, there’s something odd that I can’t quite put my finger on; she kind of looks like an upscaled figurine or something. At least, she’s unique with a bit of Resident Evil’s Jill mixed in.

Next, they released the 142cm H-cup Paw Girl. Heavily anime-inspired with big eyes and fangs, she pulls off the catgirl look well. Both of the new dolls are silicone, and this one weighs 25 kg (55 lbs) without the head.

Conclusion
That wraps up a fairly short week of sex doll news. Activity seems to be dwindling down, though there’s always something happening behind-the-scenes. Many brands and vendors were glued to their screens this week regarding the US-China tariff situation. That’ll definitely be the topic of discussion for the next month, though I’d like to avoid politics here. If you’re curious about the tariff situation, I shared a vendor’s insights in the comment section.
In other news, certain brands are preparing for the 2025 Shanghai API Expo happening between April 18-20, so that might result in less news. However, that expo usually doesn’t have the highest turnout due to being far away from the factories. I’ll still cover it nonetheless. As things greatly slow down in the doll world, be sure to stay tuned for the latest!
Thoughts on April’s official first week of news? Comment below!
The 153cm J-cup Mandara Doll looks very interesting but i couldn’t find any western vendor that sells her… can you suggest one perhaps? Also, do you know anything about that brand’s quality… skeleton, silicone softness? Thank you very much!
When I covered their launch a year ago, I thought that they’d sell globally by now, but I guess not. It seems that they still only sell in Japan. However, I’m guessing that they’re related to Siliko Doll (and maybe Butterfly as well, I’m guessing silicone BF’s are made in Siliko factory?). Maybe it’s possible to get one through a Siliko Doll vendor if it’s true. Quality-wise (if the connection is true), I assume it’s similar to Siliko Doll but that brand isn’t popular and doesn’t have much reviews either..
This is just my guess bc what appears to be the Siliko Twitter account retweets them a lot: https://x.com/DollSiliko
Holy moly! Enya from MMX looks exactly like a specific actress! WOW!
Great news week again Stevey ๐ Thanks!
I just turned my IDO doll into GTA6 Bikini girl… If you feel like seeing it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baisLHsOhmI
That’s pretty funny. Thanks for sharing. ๐
Sankaku’s Paw Girl is the best anime doll I’ve ever seen, I would actually want one, but it’s just a bit too short, would be nice to have it in 159.
Damn idodoll looks pleasant to the eye. Hopefully more brands make unique and well made heads.
Btw, there was an ai designed head you shared before? Were there any news about it, is it available? It looked cute.
Not sure which AI-designed head you’re referring to. One that was teased but not released? I don’t remember any. ๐ค

I found that head here, idk if it Coeros who designed it but they are using it for their product.
Oh yeah.. I remember now. That was a long time ago. From what I can tell, it was part of a contest and one person received the custom head for free. I don’t know if they still sell the head or not. You can see the winner’s photos here: https://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=182496&start=180

For anyone curious about the US tariffs, RLSD wrote an insightful post on TDF: https://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=194754
In short, doll prices won’t double. Tariffs are based on the declared value at customs, which is much lower than the price you pay (RLSD says the average declared value is $450). To prevent price increases, brands and vendors will try absorbing the fees by using slower shipping. Save your wallet by waiting longer, or you can pay more for faster shipping.
According to RLSD, the previous 34% could be fully absorbed by using slower shipping. However, the new 104% tariffs won’t be so easy. Doll prices may go up a few hundred dollars but it ultimately depends on the declared value, shipping method, and any profits they’re willing to give up.
Thanks for addressing this topic and summarizing it really well, Steven.
No problem. Just wanted to share some insights from a reputable US vendor. However, their post addressed the tariffs at 34%, and now it’s 125% (and still subject to change) so nothing’s set in stone just yet. I think the main point is that tariffs are based on the declared value, and slower shipping can absorb some of the fees. However, American customers may have to pay a few hundred dollars extra. It’s too early to tell just yet though.
RLSD just posted an update that made-on-order Lusandy dolls will stay the same price. They’re somehow able to fully absorb 125% tariffs with 12-15 days shipping and vendors covering some of the remaining fees.
You’re really on the ball with this. The community is lucky to have you. Thanks for the continued updates!
MMX Doll and IDO Doll outdid themselves again! Would love to do a freeze modeling gig alongside those beauties…
Yep. I’ve been very impressed with these two brands. Both newish but still active and pursuing the highest level of realism.
Wonder if there are any reviews for MMX and IDO dolls? I am mainly interested in the sexual functioning and softness.
Thanks for the great information as always Steven!
I haven’t seen any MMX reviews, but they’re made in the same factory as Normon Doll, so maybe you can find some reviews on them. I found some IDO Doll reviews on Google but don’t have time to look at them right now. Maybe one of my readers, Rebel Drifter, can answer that since he has both brands (Normon and IDO). He’s on YouTube and Twitter.
There is an up-to-date review on a japanese doll-blog I follow (besides celesdolls of course) who reviewed their 165E body. He does a really good job showing softness and comparing it to other dolls he alrady reviewed.
https://lovemaga.jp/
The blog is in japanese, but the translation software of the browser does quite a good job.
Thanks everyone for these resources!
From reading through everything, it sort of looks like that EVAS still has the softest silicone most suited for sexual function??? Any opinions? I do like that EVAS lists shore hardness levels, it makes it easier than flying blind. Hopefully other manufacturers also start doing this.
