Game Lady Releases Head No.40 (Mei Sex Doll from Overwatch)

After a weekend of teasers, Game Lady finally returned with their latest Head #40, inspired by Mei from Overwatch. A not-so-highly-requested head years ago, she’s finally out – but long after the Overwatch hype has died (which seems to be Game Lady’s story lately). Some people think this is their worst release to date, while others called her “Mei on Ozempic.” Unlike their recent Bayonetta or Chun-Li who got custom bodies, Mei received only a head – paired with their 165G body. While the face is pretty spot-on and resembles her, she noteably loses what makes her “Mei” – her weight. Personally, I don’t mind the head (has a cutesy cartoony-ness), and the 165G is a nice body, but is she really Mei anymore? I guess that’s up to the people to decide, but they did inadvertently save you from chronic back pain.

Conclusion

Starting 2026 late to the party as usual, this has been Game Lady’s story for the last few years. Despite Overwatch’s hype having long past, perhaps the success (or lack of legal issues) from their previous D.Va and Tracer dolls led them to revisit Overwatch. I glanced back at their 2023 contest results and noticed Mei isn’t even on the list, while Mercy had 5 votes. Anyway, people don’t seem super hyped about this, and I can see why. Without her trademark “fat” body, it’s not really “Mei;” it’s like putting Chun Li on a skinny body. Still, I think the face resembles her and she’s kind of cute in an animated way. The cosplay is a bit tacky and it’s definitely not Game Lady’s greatest presentation, but at least they made something besides another Tifa. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this. Is this a disappointing start to the year, or will Head #40 win some hearts? Comment below!

Irokebijin released a 102cm (!) doll. Why dont you talk about it?

Thanks for the reminder. They messaged me, but I kind of ignored it since it’s risky to talk about small dolls nowadays.. I just looked at them (there’s actually 2 new bodies) and they should be ok to show, so it’ll be in my next weekly update.

MadMaximus is right. I don’t know what happened in the meantime but I was a o.g. overwatch player. Mei is supposed to be a bit more compact in her face and she needs to be a bit plumpy as well. To me she doesn’t look as close as she could be. Other than this… it’s a cool new doll from GLD. More options for them peeps.

Yeah, this was an odd character choice since they weren’t planning to make the body. They were able to get away with other characters on existing bodies like (Ciri, Quiet, etc), but Mei is too jarringly different. People might have to mix-and-match her with another brand’s body but I don’t usually recommend that.. (different skin tones, head-neck gaps/ratios, etc).

I completely agree with you once again. Mixing and matching is hard. I have a lot of ladies and it’s actually pretty difficult to do. For example I got lucky with certain skin tones and some placement here and there… But almost never perfect. But… I have a Talia head from TopCyDoll that works perfect on a stunning IDOdoll body.
Or a TopFireDoll ScarJo look-a-like head on a NiantaDoll body. Or another TopFireDoll head on a MMXdoll body (almost perfect).
But yeah… It would be sick if all brands had just a couple of body/head colors and the same design regarding head so we could mix and match all the time but on the other hand that would destroy brands because some distance themselves with sculpting and especially colors and realism / make-up.

Trash. Not even close to mei and totally wrong body.

Fire the designers or the entire leadership. This company is a joke

And you are wrong. Overwatch is popular again because of the “changes”

      1. Steven

Oh, I didn’t know Overwatch was popular again. That makes more sense why they went with Overwatch again. Thanks for the info. Sadly, this design seemed to flop.

They might have gotten her features right, but this looks like a child. Mei is a grown woman. Why are doll companies like this? -.-

Hmm, I compared her face to Mei, and it looks very similar, so I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the large facial features, cartoon style doesn’t translate well, or the scaling for this body. Not sure what happened here.
